Nintendo 64 kiosk, not complete

I have the opportunity to buy a N64 kiosk. It's missing the original TV and Nintendo 64 system tho. The owner doesn't know if the valuable and fragile sound chip is in there or still intact. There is also surface rust on the bottom platform, but he says it isn't pitted and can be cleaned up.

I only have one picture to go off of. I would like to get some input from you guys as I am no expert in these.

n64 kiosk

What would you pay/offer? Thanks in advance for the help!

  • Posting a picture here would help. I wouldn't want to give a whole lot for it since it's missing the original console and monitor. Those are two key pieces.
  • That was my thought. I can't figure out how to upload it from my phone, so it might have to wait until later tonight.
  • Monitor is a pia to find. Cool setup if you are liking for a display.
  • It looks like its missing a controller arm also which probably isn't easy to find.
  • Bump. Any help would be awesome.
  • $200 tops. Restoring it would be a bitch as tough to get monitor and controller arms.

I'd pay the $200 and part it out double to triple or quadruple your money.

Heck I'd be even interested in a couple pieces

If you ever sell it and would ship it I would pay for it .
  • I say regardless if console & Monitor are missing I would take the opportunity to get it, many collectors view it as a game CIB and has no value unless mint condition and should be restored to its exact specifications! Personally I would view it as something awesome to have in my game room screw the originals, clean it up, put a new N64 in there and find something that looks good and fits as a monitor, I'm sure you can find similar black insulation for the other controller are and boot the beast up! This was meant to promote then be tossed plain and simple. If you got it are you looking to just turn around and sell it or were you looking to enjoy it? Hell if you got it as low as $200 It well worth the discussions with your friends and the time playing it accounting cost for entertainment!
  • I was looking at making it an addition to the game room. It was my childhood system so the nostalgia factor is way up there. I was originally thinking around the $200 price range myself, but I'm not sure if he will go that low. We will see I guess. I'm heading over there tomorrow to help him dig it out and get a better look at things. Regardless I'll keep this active as to what is or isn't there and if I purchase it. Thanks again for all the help!
  • about a year ago i had found this same one, it stands about 7 feet tallish........ the one i have was also missing a tv, both controller arms and system also the first letter "N", if you ask me $200 is a steal.... take your time and clean it up, just a week or so ago there was a controller arm that sold on e-bay "50ish" good luck.
  • Just picked it up! I'm so pumped! It needs some serious TLC but I don't mind. I will need to figure out the wiring as its all jumbled. I don't know if the sound chip is intact or if the lights still work. After the feedback from you guys and talking with the owner we agreed on $300. Couldn't be more happy!
  • The biggest nintendo kiosk ever. The gamecube kiosks are big, but this thing is just huge... Love it though
  • They are awesome! I picked one up a couple months ago
  • Very cool pick up. I don't think $300 is way off for a price. If you do a restoration on it, be sure to post some pictures of your progress so we can see it all cleaned up and working!
  • I wish I could find one of these. It would really round off my N64 collection.
  • I'm working on fixing it up now. I'll post pictures when I'm all done. Anyone know what size TV was originally in it? I'm thinking maybe a 17" I know it's a Philips TV model number pb5013 but that's about all I know. Haha
  • Jealous .......
  • I think the monitor is a 19 inch. I got lucky and purchased one a year or so ago for $150. Can any monitor work? I thought they had a specific monitor to it. If you need more info, let me know and I can help you out.
  • I ended up just grabbing a TV from the thrift shop for under $3. It's nothing special but it is a 19" and has a good picture. So now the hunt for the original TV begins! Haha
