Felix the Cat for Game Boy

Hello, I have a copy of the game Felix the Cat for the Game Boy.  I've checked ebay to see what it might potentially be worth and have found it to be between 40-50 dollars without a box, which is what I have.

Having seen the photos that the ebay posters have put up, I noticed that their versions of the game were different than mine. All of the postings that I have seen on ebay are the version published by Electro Brain while mine is the Hudson Soft version.  I'm wondering if my version is worth more since it's the original publisher [Hudson Soft] and if it is then how much would it be worth? It's the cartridge only

Any help would be awesome

Thank you!

I attached a photo of the cartridge

  • I don't really collect loose, but as a CIB collector, this game is almost impossible to find. I only acquired my CIB Hudson Soft version when a fellow collector broke his set. I assume the cart is equally tough, and I really think this is a true top 10 rarity on the system, at least in terms of CIBs.
  • Since when did the cart double? Its been a solid $20(maybe $25) for awhime now. Even as recent as a few months ago at least.

Ive been putting off grabbing a copy wit manual for $19.99 canadian.. I guess its time to act.

I didnt even realize there was a re-release of this on the gb by another company. Id be interested to know whats up with that
  • As for your question at hand; id wager the original hudson version would be more desired. But its cib that you might expect to see a price difference - more hardcore collecting, and much greater rarities - cart collecting just isnt hot enough. And theres not really any reason, to my knowledge, to believe one is rarer. They are both toughies.
  • Oh! I must have overlooked that one, good find Silent Hill!

Wow that's really surprising for me honestly! I'm not a collector or anything but after looking around online I kept reading people calling it rare so I decided to check what's up. Thanks for the help!

Thanks for the info! And yes, you should jump on it soon since I've seen quite a few at 40$
