Gameboy games list
does anyone have a complete list of the US titles? is anyone working on one w/ rarity guide?
I tried nintendos page, but for some reason it only listed about 15 original gameboy games
***added a poll***

I don't have JP, North American only. yeah for Hydrox on the PAL list, some nice exclusives over there.
Like Trip World which I still don't own
i'm working on a big excel workbook right now, and i'm sure i'm missing some games
there's about 500 in it right now
does anyone know off hand how many US release Gameboy games there are?

digital press lists 521, not sure how up 2 date editing in that section is though
i'm at 501,
no wisdom tree or sachen titles because i'm not sure if they're official releases
*****actually 500 on the dot, is Monster Max a US release?

ahh gameboy. Well I've had Wisdom Tree loose carts traded in to my store. I'd say those should count.

they're not official releases though
I can add a pirate / unofficial tab to the book
DP also lists Sachen's which I don't along with some other unreleased or PAL stuff. I have 510 ,might have a 511th.
Well I selected GB->US Games from their database. This usually does NOT include any PAL games or unlicensed games.
i'm putting those in different sections
i'm at 503 for just US releases, not including the wisdom tree or sachen games

Hmm so you don't count Tegen for NES?

i'm guessing you meant tengen?
i'm not real worried about NES games, those have been cataloged all over hell and back, i'm trying to make a US Official release list for Gameboy games and branching it out once I get the rest of the information to Japanese, Pirate, Unofficial, etc.

That is fine but you should go with the standard that has been set on the NES. If a game would count on the NES system it should count on the Gameboy. There is some debate on some NES games but I think just about everyone includes the Wisdom Tree titles and the unlicenced Tengen games.
i'm not against it, as there are only like 5 WT gameboy games, time to make a poll and get a census from this place
I need a break from my computer after this one, i've been working on and off since the 19th on a excel workbook for gameboy games, and on and off for a Long time on regular lists in word or notepad
i've got thumbnails of every box except million sellers, re-releases, wisdom tree games, and all foreign games
here's a sneak peak of some of the US stuff:
hopefully i'll have them all loaded into the work book before xmas....
***added the box covers and info for the wisdom tree games
time to take a break unless I find a complete list of japanese games
its easier just keeping it all seperated
I think most collectors care more about where the item was issued than if it was licensed. Some collectors question Sachen games by saying there is little or not proof they were sold in the US during the systems lifetime.
So I would include all unlicened titles but perhaps not the Sachen gameboy ones. I don't think there are any reported cases of a Sachen Gboy game being sold in the USA during the heyday of the Gameboy.

This is pretty much what my list is, luckily there's only 5 unliscensed(wisdom Tree) Games
