Story missions and explore can be done solo or co op (this type of game is always more fun with others)
Strikes are 3 man dungeons, they can be played with friends or randoms (if someone is under level or doesn't know they are doing you are going to have a rough time)
Raids are 6 man end game mega dungeons, long, challenging, require teamwork, no matchmaking

You aren't alone. I'll be on the Xbox One as well. I have to wait for Amazon to drop off my Ghost Edition. I'm super excited about this game. I enjoyed co-op with my boyfriend so he got excited because all I wanted to do was play with him. Good stuff. He'll get mad if I play without him now
Warlock all the way. I can't remember the type of races that they were called but human was boring since I'm human in pretty much all of the games I play. So I picked the alien looking character and have purple skin with pinkish red hair. The robot humaniod character was ok I suppose

No prob, that was fun to join up. So apparently we can't just talk to anyone, but instead have to set up something with friends only? I haven't been able to test out the voice chat stuff.
Pre-ordered the Ghost Edition for 360 when it was announced from WalMart online. Paid in full and was told free shipping, or so I thought. Was supposed to be shipped FedEx and I even got an email with tracking info last week saying it was enroute. Well yesterday I got a missed package slip from USPS saying postage due. Went there today and what do you know, it's my Destiny pre-order! Fucking FedEx didn't label the box with my address, and for the free shipping I was supposed to get ended up costing me $10.95. The real thing that pissed me off was when I opened the box... fucking cardboard is ripped a good 5-6" on one side of the box. I'm gonna take out some PTSD out on WalMart customer service tomorrow.
