  • I just want to say that I received the labels on Saturday and I was very, VERY happy with how they turned out! I honestly wished I had ordered more for future use. Thank you SO much for putting this together.
  • Np, glad ya liked em! I may set something up in the future, but as for now I'm not placing any more major orders lol.

Feel free to take any of the images I have posted and print them yourselves if you'd like!
  • got mine yesturday. they look great! thanks!
  • Got my labels and the snes replacement as well. fantastic job!! Thx again for setting this up Eric!!
  • I got my label a few weeks ago and they look great. I appreciate using your spare time to run this group buy. Also I read on Sazyario's thread that you got a printer and may start making your own labels in the future. If that's the case I will definitely contact you if I ever require more labels.

I'm unsure if feedback matters to you but I gave you positive feedback. Keep up the great service!
  • Thanks everyone! glad you all liked em. I'll have to update the front page to reflect that I can do labels now too lol.
  • Boom, finally got my labels on, they look absolutely fantastic, thanks again for setting up the buy Eric

I could probably work something up.  I'm busy for a bit, but I can probably get to it this coming weekend.

    please of course

edit: here's (what looks like) the original background that whoever made that label used (if it helps any)

  • Which font did you use for the green text on the super nintendo labels for the spine?

Oh awesome, I can change that easily then heh.    Also, I could mock up my orignal mario design or the megaman one if you would like that instead.

They are, but I'm sure he mean ascetically like the labeling of the label and what not (like having PAL version for a UK cart, etc) :-)

    Yep =0)

  • do you have a replacement label for punch-out!! ?
  • Updated the front page a bit!

  • Another satisfied customer!
  • ^^Nice! RegularGuy. That two-toned green case is awesome!

I finished with my green TG-16 Everdrive label. I sprayed the green SLS Nylon 3D printed shell with satin clear coat to seal it from dirt, etc before applying the label. Eric_of_Troy actually sent two sticker samples, one more of a "Apple" green and the second was a shade darker but just shy of forrest, perhaps a Kelly. The darker shade matched up very nice. I'm amazed that the three different shades of green for the PCB, label, and 3D-printed case match together so well. At least I won't have to worry about ESD destroying my TG-16 from touching the PCB when trying to insert or eject it.

Thanks! I'll upload a couple pics later this evening...

Sorry you're "out of commision" again. Hopefully you get it resolved soon...

EDIT: Here's the new Green Turbo Everdrive. Sadly the label is upside down when you insert it in the system but if I flipped it around, it wouldn't match the PCB when ejected.

  • ^^^ Woowii! Thats a nice cart dude! I really like the label pops out just enough to notice. Gota love the custom projects we get to do bc of sites like these!

I had Lincoln assemble the board from me and was fortunate enough to buy a couple of bunnyboys translucent shells before he stopped publicly selling them. I think the green and yellow really scream Gimmick too.

    Thanks man.

I wish Brian still sold the NES shells. Rumor has it he stopped selling them after the NES N8 Everdrive came out because people were making/selling Everdrives with his shells. My N8 Everdrive is the Famicom version (Deluxe SAG gold #007) so I don't have a need for the NES one. I had 5 repro kits at one time but I eventually sold them off after they became collector's items. I was originally thinking about buying an EPROM burner and making my own repros as an experiment, but decided it wasn't worth the investment unless I actually planned to recoup costs by selling repros, which I had no desire to do. While I do have the technical skill and electronics knowledge to make repros, I'm too much a chronic procrastinator to do commissions for people. I've still got unfinished hobby projects sitting idle for months or years. Either way I got one clear shell left but I don't know what I'll use it for.
  • Yeah dude I had my shells laying around forever! Seriously for well over a yr and I finally got around to peicing together a custom gimmick haha That makes sense though for him to discontinue them like that. For awhile he was the only person really selling shells. Now at least we have Paul at infiniteneslive which is nice but I havent put an NES PBC in one yet which seems like a tiny bit of a job in itself. We'll see though bc I bought some of those too in the odd chance they'll get used in the next year or so lol

Also when INL came out with his solderless game dumper programmer, I've toyed with the idea of getting one. I may place an order at some point and Make a custom VS Pinball cart with my clear shell, to match the other RetroUSB ones. I collect Pinball sim games, and being a nich genre, I own nearly every Pinball title available for each cart system I own. I may be only missing one or two obscure Super Famicom titles. Regardless, like most other titles, VS Pinball has deeper gameplay compared to the console version.

I first need to know if the MMC1 VS hacks are compatible with the INL board though. Also if the programmer will interface with 64-bit Windows. MS sucks! Also for some reason I kind of have a moral stance against using donor game PCBs unless the game is shit and extremely common. Yet this is coming from someone who butchered a Ballz 3D cart for the DSP1b chip to stick in his Super Everdrive!
