Get your hands on the rare Visteon Dockable GBA
The story goes that these were only available through car dealerships as an optional entertainment upgrade when you bought a new car. The rumored price was around $1200 I think. It's basically a DVD player and Game Boy Advance combo in one with its own unique controller.
I snagged mine a couple days ago as soon as it was posted on ebay. Did the buy it now option for around $280 shipped so I wouldn't lose it and have been looking for one for quite a while and couldn't find any solid pricing guide so I just pulled the trigger. I contacted the seller to get the story behind this and he said that he has a friend that worked at a car dealership that was trying to get rid of the old inventory and so he snagged them at a good price. The seller has three full kits and two without the docking kits (I would assume just the player then). I figured I'd share the love for this very uncommon Game Boy Advance system (because it has actual GBA boards/parts inside).

Yeah, I think he did it because I bought the first one so fast and because he wasn't sure on the price because there's very little, if any selling history online. You could message him about the price though. My guess is he'd probably do around what he sold it to me for or maybe a tiny bit more since he's still figuring out the pricing.
if you do your due diligence on this item they can be had for fairly inexpensive
In what way? I've been scouring stores, contacting dealerships, looking on different forums, doing google searches, and watching for this on eBay. Did I miss something in my hunting?
