need help making a custom pokemon game

i have seen on ebay custom pokemon games. ie. Pokemon Quartz.  my brother is a pokemon fanatic and i wanted to make him a custom game for christmas.  i've download some rom and some hack tools and i am working on the rom now.  through research i've found it is possable to put rom on cartdriges. i was hoping someone could help me with that . any other tips would be appreciated thank you

    You probably should have started working on the ROM after last Christmas, it's an acquired skill and takes dedication. Maybe present him an awesome Pokemon hack for Christmas 2015.



    As for putting the game on a cart, that's not so easy. I've only ever seen a couple repro makers attempt GBA carts and those are usually also available through chinese bootleg channels, where they only choose to bootleg popular stuff.

    i would just put it on a flash cart imo. writing a game to a chip isnt an easy task. good luck though. if your successful consider making more carts cause im sure alot of people would be interested here
