  • I cancelled the bid. The seller didn't seem to have enough details and said he only has the figure. Figma items come with extra hands and such. I think he's trying to scam people with the listing name.
  • That's definitely NOT Figma. Figma figures have a ton of articulation and are not 12" tall.

This is what that guy is selling

  • I feared that. I let the seller know so he can pull the term from his listing. He should know better based on his feedback but sometimes people try to get by with stupid stuff.

I've seen the "titan" series at toys-r-us on sale for 10 and suspected it might be one of them.

Clyde, or anyone-- Any input on this http://www.ebay.com/itm/df1-Metroid-Other-M-Samus-Aran-Figma-Action-Figure-no-stand-old-/321483250973?pt=US_Action_Figures&hash=item4ad9e51d1d

I've been warned that their are fake Figmas and one thing to look for is the stand or lack of. I got one of those for 25 bucks and I'm not too impressed. It's joints seem loose and there is more gap than I expected. It stands fine and is probably real but now I'm not sure. The seller claimed it didn't have a stand because "it's version 1.0" that had less parts and no stand. That sounds like BS but at half price I didn't care. Of course buyers remorse only sets in after the check clears.

I may buy a real Figma Samus from BBTS and compare, then give one to charity or if it seems real sell one.
  • That Samus looks mostly right to me.

However, I'm pretty sure that I have the first release. To be honest I couldn't tell you if it came with a stand or not. Mine has an attachment for the arm cannon to make it look open missle-shootin' mode. Finally, and this could just be the pics, but I want to say mine is much shinier and metallic looking.
