Please help me complete my power set! + heart warming story.
Is there an exremely detailed tutorial on how I can make this mess pretty again? I think I have everything I need except the manuals and paperwork, maybe the game came with a manual too? No idea here I'm clueless The box is in such beautiful shape that I want the inside to be pretty too. And when I say detailed I mean "detailed" as in how the zip ties go, which order the manuals are stacked and wrapped, super detailed because I'm super picky lol. And no I won't be passing it off as brand new even though the box looks like it just came off the store shelf. I know it sounds like a lot of work but this is the season of giving, and I've done my good deed this month. Oh what did I do you ask? Well on one of the local Facebook swap sites some lady had bought a Nintendo with a random assortment of games which was advertised as working. To her dismay the console did not work, kids extrememly disappointed, therefore she goes to complain on the Facebook page. Comment after comment of negativity is posted after her little rant such as, buyer beware, you should have tested it before you bought it, and on and on. So here I am thinking, what is wrong with society? I message her and tell her to bring her console to my place and I'll swap it with a guaranteed working unit free of charge no questions asked. Later that night she sends me a picture of her kids gathered around the t.v. in a dimly lit room playing Mario 1 and that was an amazing feeling I can't describe, it hit me right in the gonads in a good way. Just to bring some joy to them as I had like a young kid doing the same seriously made my freakin week. Sooo if that doesn't put you in the giving mood then I'm giving up on you all lol. p.s. I don't know if you can see in the picture but the power pad box has nasty tape residue so I'll probably look for a nice fresh one in the meantime. And if anyone is willing to make me a good deal on whatever I'm missing please let me know.

as for putting it all back its its box perfectly the manuals (as far as i know go on top of the nes console largest to smallest. the small twist ties go around the controller cords for the bag to stay in place the large twist ties go around the cords the self. to wrap a cord corectly use your hand hold the end of the cord and lightly wrap it around your hand like a bracelet then slide it off and put a twist tie on it.
oh and FYI dont let the cords touch the syrofoam or over time it will melt on to the cord. its can be peeled off but its an annoying thing to deal with.
i repackaged a few nes and snes console to make them look as if there were brand new. if i was there id do it for you but im not...
Does it look like I'll be missing any documents still? I really wish there were detailed pictures here on how each item is wrapped, would be a great resource for everyone.

Yeah I went in a DeLorean When the lady pulled it out of her trunk I was speechless. Thanks very much for your input I appreciate it. Just ordered a bunch of manuals on ebay so that's a good place to start.

So this is my progress, spent an hour messing with it and here's where I'm at so let me know how it looks. Waiting on all the instruction manuals in the mail which should hopefully finish it off. I will look to get a nice power pad w/ white box upgrade still because that's the only thing that doesn't look brand new. Also does anybody know if I'm missing any paperwork from what I've ordered up above? Also, once it's all complete does anybody know about clear protective cases? I'd like to keep this looking mint for another 20+ years.
