I don't normally care enough to send sellers messages about repros not being marked correctly, and I don't care when people sell them on eBay even if it's somewhat above what some people might consider "fair" here, but this was a slightly different situation.
Probably a lot of people would be mad at this seller just for the price of $600 for a Star Fox 2 repro, but my reason for posting this is actually a bit more centered around poor customer service and attitude. I messaged the seller because he has a bunch of NFR games, and it looked like he was maybe selling a storage find or someone else's collection--either way, like he didn't know that much about the items. So I thought I'd save him some trouble (and maybe have a little fun if he got angry, if I'm being completely honest...) before he got reported a ton or received messages about the Star Fox 2. Plus I felt a tad ornery yesterday

I was just curious which repro maker did it is all. If you genuinely don't know what this is, feel free to ask me for more details. I'm not trying to harass you though if you're just trying to make a big buck off someone who doesn't know what it is "

Every reproduction uses the beta version--the person who made this just happened to put that on the label, but it's all just burning a rom onto chips and doing some soldering work on the board. Again, I was trying to help you since you don't seem to know exactly what this is. To be clear, the cartridge is not official or even rare for that matter. It's something someone made, and I'm trying to tell you that there are many people who make these. I can tell from your rude response that you're not interested in learning about this though. Next time you might want to consider being polite, especially to someone who's trying to help you."

It just occurred to me that someone here might recognize that label and be able to link me to someone who sells one just like it rather than "totally different" He would probably still find a reason to be mad though.

A guy messages me and says he will give me $30 for it and then instantly asked me for the payment information. I busted out laughing. Not the first time it has happened but it's been a good 6+ months since it has happened.

Listed an item for $79 + shipping and he offered $25 today, which is too low considering the nature of the item and what I paid for (I paid $109) and told me he is ready to pick it up tomorrow as he lived locally. I never even accepted the offer yet or contacted him yet. Funny how some people really try to get a great deal for themselves. xD
Up for sale on Ebay is a Like New Classic Nintendo Game Boy in the box with instruction booklet. Complete except for the warranty card and the double AA batteries that went bad a very long time ago.
