Yeahhhh, Priority shipping in a flate rate box for that would be about $5.15.
I report every overpriced shipping listing I find, but eBay never seems to do anything about it. Once saw a guy selling a few old NES instruction manuals, and wanting 50 dollars to ship it. Reported it, listing stayed up, unchanged for the full run.

Then you might want to talk to JJAAMMEESSNNEESS about that. I think that's his auction.

I don't think they really care about shipping anymore since they actually charge you on what is paid for shipping also. Its probably their way of making money and not caring.
At least all they sell is photos if you look at their listings, and it is listed as a photo and nothing more.
The best one I've seen for this type of listing though was when 360 first came out. It was listed as "Microsoft Xbox box for Xbox 360" The auction ended with a large number of bids and sold for almost $200.
Craigslist listing for "N-64 game deck w/3 games," but the description says:
"the game does work, it has two controllers, a memory card, and the games are forsaken, hexen, and ready to rumble 2, i have shadowgate but that game is rare hard to find and the wife likes it and wants to keep it incase we ever decide to get another n64, but i know if i sell it we will never get what we paid for it out of it, so shadowgate does not go with it"
Why the hell even mention Shadowgate if you're not selling it? Unless he deliberately put it up there to try to get people to make 'offers' on it. Either way, it was funny.
Mmmmmmmmm.....drugs. This genius originally only wanted $750 for this steal! Worth over $2400! Time for me to sell out. Can't even understand what the hell he typed.
In the auction it makes note of RJ'S Games N Collectibles. Is that what the seller is part of?
If they are a games and collectibles seller you would imagine that they knew what the hell it was that they were selling. I hope this crap isnt a scam.
(It redirects you from betascript publishing to VDM)
"VDM Publishing is a German publishing group based in Saarbrücken, Germany, with offices in Argentina,[5]Latvia, Mauritius and Moldova. Submissions are neither peer reviewed nor edited. Its book production is based on print on demand technology.
VDM publishing's imprints—Alphascript, Betascript, Fastbook Publishing and Doyen Verlag—specialize in publishing and selling Wikipedia articles in printed form via print on demand, in e-commerce bookstores.[8] Alphascript distributes publications through several on-line book retailers. At least some of the books are actually printed by Amazon.com. As of November 2010, around 150,000 such titles have been produced. In June 2010, VDM started its own online-bookshop: MoreBooks! Publishing.
VDM's publishing methods have received criticism for the soliciting of manuscripts from thousands of individuals, for providing non-notable authors with the appearance of a peer-reviewed publishing history, for benefiting from the free contributions of online volunteers, and for insufficiently disclosing the free nature of their content. VDM responds that Wikipedia is a valuable, quality resource, that the company has no problem asking authors for content, that buyers are informed of where information comes from, that books are a convenient form to collect articles about interesting subjects, and that its customers are satisfied with VDM's products."
Alphascript Publishing (created in April 2009), Betascript Publishing (created in January 2010), Fastbook Publishing (created in July 2009) and Doyen Verlag (created in April 2010) are imprints of VDM Publishing, which publish and sell collections of freely available Wikipedia articles as expensive printed-on-demand books"
Hahahahahha...Wow - what a scam...though I can't believe anyone would actually buy those! This totally defies all the fundamental principles of Wikipedia's existence.
Oh well, I just noticed these and thought it was completely ludicrous.
So I saw this auction a few days ago for a Dreamcast with every NES game for $100. My brother asked me if he should bid on it and I had a good laugh. I told him its just regular Dreamcast with a burnt Cd with a bunch of NES games, which takes less that a few minutes to make. Whats odd is the auction is now $300...
