It's snowing outside right now, so I thought I'd ask about snow today.

Special personal note, Today is my daughter Shelby's second birthday..

God she's growing up fast..

    We haven't had any real snow in years. I think the most we have had is like 1 inch, maybe 2 in the last 5 years. It is supposed to flurry a little today but nothing big. I hope we get a monster like Jordan and Will post about image

    It isn't snowing here in Maine right now.Probably because all the snow hit last night.Conratulations on your daughter's second birthday and yeah they do grow up fast.My daughter Alesha is seven.

    It's snowing pretty good in Nashville NGD.. but it won't stick.. It sure is pretty though..



    Maybe we will finally get some good snow this winter..

    It's flurried a couple of a times here, but nothing sticking to the ground. It's definitely been a few years since we've had anything major... i.e. more than an inch or two.

    it was snowing like crazy yesterday, but it was too warm for it to stick



    must've snowed a bit more while I was sleeping because both of our cars were covered in snow and ice this morning

    half a foot of snow at least out my door aswell as freezing rain off and on :.

    I'm happy to live in a place that only gets snow once every few years.

    I would be even happier to live in a place that was never colder than 75 degrees.

    it snowed pretty good yesterday for about 2 1/2 hours, then turned to rain....

    It never snows here in Florida, I think it might have once back in the 70's, but it melted as soon as it hit the ground.

    We probably have 3-5 inches on the ground right now here in SW MI. Good ole lake effect snow. I guess we were supposed to have a lot more, but it seems to have gone just to the west and east of Kalamazoo...i guess we lucked out this time around

    I feel you with the lake effect snow. Here in NE Ohio we've already been hit a few times.

    Although we spent most of the day together on Friday, just Shelby and Daddy, it was fun.. Didn't leave the house but it was nice...

    There is snow covering the ground here in Ottawa. I think we're supposed to be getting a big massive hit of snow today/tonight (like 10-25 cm), but I think there is the possibility that it is all going to turn to rain/freezing rain.

    I don't mind the snow, I just hate driving/walking in it.

    If it's snowing in Nashville right now, in about 8 hours, it'll probably be snowing here. That being said, we've already had some snow, had about an inch on the ground.

    It snowed here last night. I woke up early so I would have time to scrape off the car and to allow for extra driving time. We didn't get much snow, but over the night it all iced over and the roads were slick this morning.

    Did you get any of the Thunderstorm sleet we had sunday night?  I wasn't sure how to vote, because where I was at saw Rain, Thunder, Lightning, Hail, Sleet, and Snow at the same time.  The stuff was laying on the ground and road too (I took a picture image).

    yeah, it done some storming here. But it was very short lived and didn't do much really. Fingers crossed for a nasty winter!

    we got snow 3 times already in november. only stayed on the ground a few days. its snowing here but nothing sticking.  Looks like this may be a bad winter which were about due I havent seen a real bad winter since the 90s

    You do know the last time we had that happen was March 1993, right?  I think we all remember that year's blizzard.  I'm predicting we'll have another this year (or sometime early next year)

    Okay, so this poll is long past, but I didn't think it necessary to create a totally new topic for snow when one already existed. We got our first snow for the winter this morning (picture taken from one of our living room windows from our apartment). Well, actually its still snowing, and its sticking...wonder how much we'll get. But supposedly we're going to get rain or sleet later so probably not much, it'll either melt or turn to ice depending on how cold it gets. Snow is rarely ever extreme in northern VA near DC, but people sure do make a fuss out of it, people up north would probably scoff at our snow, "You call that snow, humph".

    Well, looks like this is it, it stopped snow a while ago, not a whole lot on the ground, pretty much average for my area when we do get snow.
