Possibly unused C64 computer

not my auction but found this on retro treasures blog:



says it is unused comodore 64, not sure if it is legit new but would like to hear opinions of some more knowladgeable NA members.

    I would bet that it's been used. It doesn't appear that there's any real way of proving it being new due to the fact that the box has been opened and the unit is just in a loose plastic sack within that opened box.



    Does anyone here have an unused C64? Are there any distinguishable stickers, or tie wraps that were present in the packaging that could indicate if the unit had been removed?

    Unless the seller bought it new and never hooked it up, he would have no way of knowing that it's never been used and he doesn't elaborate at all. I'm sure that it's been used before.

    anyone have an estimate what this would be worth the way it sits??
