Nice. I already got all those. And I said I was only gonna ever grab a handful.
And about twice or so a week I'm pulling all my Amiibo off the shelves, sprawling them across my bed, and sicking them against each other in 8-player Smash like some king of jumbo sized dog-fighting ring. Toon Link is my "whipping boy." Kind of a cruel experiment, I only ever play him in 1-vs-7 team battle.
Also be sure to scan them periodically under Amiibo settings to claim the loot they earn in battle. That's couch-potato gaming at it's finest!
Just checked on gold Mario. Seems he must of been reposted but ran ou t quick as the preorder button can be clicked but won't add to my cart
It was off an on all day. for like 1 minute at a time. I doubt it was even legit. Probably a glitch. Id just go to walmart the day of. Walmart doesnt know what they are doing with the preorders. Gold Mario is like rosalina.
COME ON!!! I got all the way up to the point where all I had to do was click "Place Order" and as soon as I did, I got the message that it went out of stock...
I just got one ordered after a few tries. Worth trying again now if you can. Although I'm not confident it will be honored. Might get that out of stock notice that is supposedly being sent to people with orders in.
Got a gold mario about an hour ago. Thank god. I was on my phone. Had to login, re find the item, enter all the address info, enter new card since other card on file expired. And I still managed to somehow place order.
Hopefully my order is fulfilled. Awaiting the canceled order email though.

Same with me. I got two orders in though before it wouldn't let me add another one to the cart. Hopefully they actually ship. Edit: just noticed it's listed as sold out again. No option to even add to the cart anymore.
Just a heads up, my local Best Buy now has plenty of Sonic and Megaman but still no sign of Meta Knight and Dedede since I picked up my preorders at launch.
It seems the Gold Mario Amiibo may be US/CAN only. Not confirmed but I would still like to try secure one.
Has anyone got a spare for sale or would want a trade? I only have EUR packaged figures so the box is different to the US ones. (I also have some NTSC NES carts if that is of interest)

I'm not sure but being a former employee it would not surprise me. As soon as midnight hits its considered the next day to them.
My Walmart had no clue about the release and didn't even know where the amiibos where. Glad I was there at 8pm and waited. It was worth it too. Funny though they didn't have the game in stock

I got mine in (pic in the collecotr's thread). There ws an old dude and a younger guy in electronics. The younger guy knew his stuff. Old dude was clueless. They got one box of four Amiibo. One was "reserved" for pickup so three available to sell. I got there at 10:20. Another guy showed up at 11:40 to buy one for his nephew. After me and him checked out, there was still one gold Mario left to put out on the shelf. Whomever finds if first gets lucky, I guess...
