Comments

  • Found this article about it, Getting crazy i think its real but scared as hell.

    http://technabob.com/blog/2013/04/18/lady-finds-stadium-events-cartridge/
  • Let's hope it's fake, because otherwise you just made a terrible decision to link it
  • I know, but I rather have another opinion. Buy now is gone.

Let the bidding begin.. I saw the article and noticed it was found in North Carolina.
  • What was the buy it now price?
  • We may have just missed out on a great deal, it was $4000 Buy it Now.
  • That's a stolen picture, no reason to bid on this until you see anything more convincing.

Save Point is also a member here, the guy who owns the NC store where this showed up. He said the lady declined his offer and wanted to keep it. I'm sure he offered much more than $4k for the CIB, so no way she'd ask that as a BIN.
  • stolen picture, no other pictures and 2 feedback...

Was that the CIB that was found cheap at Goodwill?

I thought that copy sold really low on GameGavel because I remember asking the seller why they didn't take it straight to ebay and make a bunch more money

  • fake. everything about it is fake.

love how he states "Contact me after winning item for payment information". sounds shady as all get out.
  • The guy says "Contact me after winning item for payment information". Do not pay with credit card. I would just tell him you will only pay with paypal. But this is also a stolen pic so I wouldnt even bid.
  • It's not ligit...it's not even legit.

    awesome.
  • You guys can always buy mine for a great offer. At least you know it is real.
  • I think $102 is already a great offer for a piece of junk game that no one cares about other than to put on their shelf and go 'look what i got'.
  • Found in North Carolina...

    Auction in California.

    Fake
  • Hmmmmmm

    2 positive feedback?

    YEP, 100% Ligit!!!

  • The low feedback/new account isn't suspicious to me, I know several people that make second accounts to buy and sell very high priced items so they are somewhat more anonymous. The stolen pics is the major red flag.
  • So i emailed the guy and this is what came about. Caught in a lie or What!!! be verry cautious.. if i were home i would try to see the game.

I live about an hour from Los angeles, but in japan at the time.

    Me: Dear millionsofdollars1323323,

    Hello,

I am interested in buying but need more info. Can you put better pictures,is this PAl or US(NTSC) is this box and manual real or replicas.

    Please let me know.

    Reply: Dear laketown04,

Everything that comes with game is Authentic and says it is made in the US, i'm not sure what you mean when you say Pal. So far as more pictures i'm sorry not able to do so right now, I had used a neighbor phone to take picture that is up now.

    Meear millionsofdollars1323323,

Thanks for reply, pal is the european version.

This listing is posted on a gaming site and people are saying its a scam. Cause this exact picture was taken on this game found in north carolina thrift store and posted in article online. Just a heads up.

Is this the exact game? if so can you please provide more info how you got it? the story

Dear laketown04,That's great to honest i never even knew this game was valuable. To me it was just a Nintendo game that I had with other games from growing up. I use to really be into game playing. But thank you for letting me know this and no this is the exact game I have. Picture was taken by a neighbors phone I had used at the time. Game is in English so I guess that would mean it's not from a European country.
  • Not a single part of this listing seems legitimate.
  • hahah, those PMs are ridiculous, even more so than the listing.
  • The original from that picture is safe and sound, and not on the market. I can see it from where I'm sitting...
  • Yeah, Dr. Curtis got that one on gamegavel a while back. This listing is 100% fake.

Heh, "I never knew this game was valuable, so let me put it up with a $4000 buy it now."

  • WOW, what hell is up with ebay sometimes...
