Gf is at work figured I'd do at least one of these. Since I played it so much as a kid 1080 snowboarding. Done on expert.

Damn I was trying to finish expert on that game for weeks. I gave up because I just couldn't do it. Glad someone was able to pick up my slack! :-P
I couldn't even finish the first race haha.
It's a tough game. It's so easy to land wrong and wipe out. I still like it though.
I think I might go for Castlevania. I just bought a copy and it's been at least 15 years since I last played it. I'm still convinced the game is not as bad as people make it out to be, but we'll see.

Was amazed with how much I remembered for not playing it in a long time. I put so many hours into it growing up though. Still remember all the best routes/shortcuts. Had the hardest time with dragon cave, but that was expected, as that was the case when I was a kid too haha.
It's nice to see that there isn't just racing games left. Fortunately I have a 3 day weekend this weekend so I may as well break out the good ol' Everdrive 64 and cross a game off the list
Going to try Banjo-Tooie since I haven't tried that game yet!

Go for it! I played B-T about halfway and just got distracted. Still enjoy the game but I needed to be in the mood to play certain games.
I give up ! AeroFighters Assault is unforgiving. Doing the main story is really hard, but to get the credits screen, it is like near impossible (for me). I discovered that you need to have excellent high scores to access to the bonus stages, and these are obligatory to really finish the game (). If someone want to do this one, good luck. This is the "Mutant Virus" of the N64 library. I doubt we will get the 303/303 completion just because of this game.

So did you finish that ice cave level? What happened after that?

Yes, I did the Ice Cave level, but the worst for me was the Fortress. I had a "To be continued..." screen. I looked up some videos on YouTube, and there is a eleventh stage, where you beat the real boss, Pandora. To access this stage, like I said, you need to success in the four bonus stages, which are hard to unlock.

Yeah, I was reading up on unlocking those stages. It does sound really hard. I tried playing the game and it was insanely hard.
Got Bomberman 2nd attack recently. Played through and beaten. Was fairly repetitive. Last level was a long one though, boss after boss haha. Wasn't that hard of a game. Mainly puzzle than action.
KrakenSoup has beaten the 100th game ! We can achieve our goal !
Woohoo! Sweet! Uploaded a pic for Tetrisphere.
As soon as I receive Castlevania 64 in the mail (should be today or tomorrow) will start working on that one. I keep going back to Jet Force Gemini but I seem to be at a point where I am completely lost and have no idea what to do (and somehow the guide I have isn't even helping).
Now working on Castlevania 64. This game is way better than I remember. I remember liking the game back in 1999 and it was also my first Castlevania believe it or not. Over the years other peoples' opinions have clouded my judgement as I haven't played the game since then. Now I've been predispositioned to dislike the game because of everything everyone else has said about it, and playing it again for the first time since its release has really made me question whether or not people have ever played a previous Castlevania prior to CV64. The game has such a similar set up in comparison to classic CV titles and the gameplay is actually GOOD. I seriously don't get why people hate on this game so much. I literally could not stop playing last night I was having a blast with it. Might even break into my Top 10 N64 games.

I liked Castlevania 64 a lot too. Many people are saying that the gameplay is terrible, but I find it pretty well. I didn't have trouble with it. Talking about Castlevania, I just bought Bloodlines on Genesis. It will be my first time trying it, and when I will be done with it, I'll get back to the thread with Glover, Extreme-G and maybe Kobe Bryant in NBA Courtside.

Any grievances people have with CV64 also applies to the classic NES Castlevanias. And I bet most people compare CV64 to Symphony of the Night since it came out about a year prior. And yeah SotN is great but it's a different game and a different style. CV64 is great and I'm so glad I'm giving it another shot. Bloodlines is a lot of fun, you should enjoy it.

Also, CV64 has a great soundtrack. I remember liking a lot the introduction theme when I was younger (). I still love it to this day.
Castlevania 64 is done! I went into it expecting to hate it, and came out loving it. Really a fantastic and hugely underrated gem in the N64's library as well as in the series. I played it once before but that was 16 years ago and I guess over time I just let everyone tell me the game is horrible so I just avoided it. So glad I played this one again. Pic to be uploaded later tonight.
