NHL 99 is done ! It's a fun hockey game, I'd recommend it. I did the Playoffs with the Montreal Canadiens and here are the teams I was against:
1. Pittsburgh Penguins
2. New Jersey Devils (won a match with 0:01 left )
3. Philadelphia Flyers
4. Dallas Stars
It's the first hockey game I played on N64 and I consider doing the other ones now. They seem to be pretty enjoyable. I heard bad things about NHL Breakaway 98 and 99, but every game needs to be beaten. Let's go guys !
Extreme-G is done. What an underrated game ! Very fast racing game with great graphics, nice gameplay, excellent fast-paced trance music and it is a very challenging game. It is kind of short, though. I was not too hyped for this game, since Acclaim games on the Nintendo 64 are usually mediocre, but I was surprised from it and it deserves a lot more attention. Seriously, it's amazing ! Here are the pictures.
These two vehicles are unlockable when you complete the "Meltdown" set of races and you finish in 1st place (largest number of points).
Roach = Intermediate difficulty
Neon = Extreme difficulty
And this is the only unlockable level (next second picture), and god, how it is hard to unlock. You need to finish first in EVERY race in the last set of races on the Extreme difficulty, but trust me, there is one race that is very frustrating. In summary, you can fall in the lava and it makes you lose a lot of time. Here's my score (I am proud of it !):
Conquered Beetle Adventure Racing over the weekend. Really a fun game. Not nearly as huge as I once thought but I'm surprised to learn that even after 15 years since I last played it I still remember just about every single shortcut in the game!

I really thought Extreme-G was a pretty underwhelming racing game even back in 1997 or whenever it came out. I remember my dad came home with it one day because his co-worker sold it to him for like $10 and I had no idea what the game was. I played it for a few hours that weekend and just couldn't get into it. I thought maybe I just didn't like racing games but then I played games like Top Gear Rally, F-Zero X, Diddy Kong Racing, Wave Race 64 and was blown away by those. I bought Extreme-G recently because it was cheap and I thought I'd give it another go but yet again I just couldn't get into it. I'm glad you enjoyed it though.

I heard a lot of great things about this game. I often see it in stores, but never CIB and I only want to buy CIB games on the N64. One day, I'll have it ! For Extreme-G, it's not as good as F-Zero X, Diddy Kong Racing and all these classics, but for a game that no one seems to talk about, I really wanted to share my love for it. It's just that I think it needs more attention. It's a great game, just not a classic (IMO). Once you have beaten the game, you don't really want to return to it, since there is nothing else to unlock... There's the multiplayer mode, but I have no one to play it with.

I found a mint CIB Beetle Adventure Racing on eBay a few weeks ago for about $20. But I decided to cut back on boxes and concentrate on carts only since CIBs are getting too expensive and I sold the box and manual. If I knew you were looking for it I would've sold the whole thing to you. Oh well. But year BAR is really fun. Definitely check it out. And yea Extreme-G isn't a bad game and maybe it deserves at least some attention but it just bored me. I haven't played any sequel on N64 or GC though and I'm wondering if they're better?

I never played the other Extreme-G games as well. I just heard that the second one is the hardest.
I agree with you on the price of the CIB's, sometimes, I just want to switch to cartridge only. That's what I do with the NES titles, except for my favorite games. For the N64, I only buy games that aren't done on the list at the moment, I'm mostly looking for hockey games since they are not too long and they are cheap. Only thing that bothers me is my lack of money (I'm 15 years old and I don't have a job). Arg !
Thank you yes I am new to forums as I am mostly on Facebook. I think this goal is super cool and I will contribute as much as possible ! I also love sbk2 it is a house favourite here!

Cool ! Always great to see new people on this thread (and website). The sports games can be very short sometimes, so if they interest you, they are worth a lot of points.
There is an exibition mode and a tournament mode but neither lead to an end lol
I found this on gamefaqs.com:
"There is no story line to this game as with other fishing and sports games, but here I will describe the Tournament mode of Bassmasters 2000. There are six tournaments that lead up to the Bass Masters Classic and each tournament is a three day event. You have to qualify in the top ten in the first three tournaments and the next two tournaments require you to qualify in the top seven. The Qualifying Tournament requires you to place in the top five to be able to compete in the Bass Masters Classic. The cash and prizes are awarded only to the top ten finishers so it places plenty of pressure to qualify in the higher ups to unlock the much needed faster boats. You begin on Lake Hickory outside of Nashville in an uncomfortably slow boat. There really isn't much new to this game that the tournament modes of other fishing games don't have other than using real locations in the game."
Just finish the tournaments and it will be alright.
Would pokemon stadium involve beating all the cups or all the gyms?
Actually, it involves beating all the cups and all the gyms. When you complete these two modes, you'll see Mewtwo in the menu which is necessary to beat for the credits. Yeah, that's tough. Here's the video that I used for reference:
Comments
1. Pittsburgh Penguins

3. Philadelphia Flyers

Welcome to NA ! I see this is your first post on here.
Thanks for beating this game. Snowboard Kids 2 is a game that I absolutely love, mainly because I grew up with it.

How would one beat bass Master 2000. A credit screen is not used unless the player goes into the menu and pressed credits
What are the game modes in it ? I never played this game. I guess there is like a main mode with scores to beat ?
