I don't check in for a few days and we're almost done with the list! I control areas 7 through 50 in nobunaga so hopefully i can finish up the last 6 tomorrow
Well, I have the interest in beating Tetris 2 or Mutant Virus, but other people have been working on them for awhile. I thought I could catch up with her but just a bit short. 2nd place again haha, there's always next year though!
Next year I won't be able to push as hard, sadly. Too much stuff will be going on. Moving abroad, starting a new company, getting into a serious relationship and maybe even plan a marriage if things go right.
I hope you get it next year, Nick. You did really well this year and made me sweat cold and push harder to try to keep the lead.
Im telling you it'll make everyones life easier if we ALL work on Mutant Virus! I just got up to level 4 relatively easy before I died and just turned it off. It just takes too damn long.

I will give it a try after I am done with this one.
After you get use to the game, its not super hard. But when you get to the latter levels its tough to clean out the virus and rooms start to go haywire and if they are over come you lose and start over. Plus if you lose your 'super gun' when you die you dont get it back and it takes even longer. Level 5 has a super gun that doesnt go away after you die, but its really just time consuming just to get to that point. Remember i have detailed level maps i made of the game.
You could do Tetris 2. It's pretty boring though, about 4+ hours of doing the same puzzle over and over. You can start on level 30, and it goes up to 80.
Level 5 is driving me insane. I can start off so well and all of a sudden the virus!!! I am going to beat this damn game before Sunday night, that or my hair will be gray and falling out. There has to be some kind of strategy I'm not getting, going to do some runs with either game genie or an emulator and try to figure it out.

I don't know if Wiz is active on here at all anymore but you could try asking him for tips/advice!
I told ya, i spent like 10 hrs on JUST level 5. When I beat it on an emulator, what i got was if a room goes crazy, literally just drop what you're doing and go there. I kept doing that and eventually i beat it.
Thats why we ive been saying there should be some strategy. Maybe pick off the harder rooms first? Where to place the CSs in what room for maximum effect? Etc
You only have 6 games left and it's the end of April? Haha what are you guys going to do when the goal is reached? Re-add the unlicensed set to give something to attempt for the rest of the year?

On Elite, I am 90% done (about 5800 kills out of 6400 needed), so I will have it finished by tomorrow.

Got the hang of it, and I am grinding battles to strengthen my army.

Gods, those last levels were boring and sanity draining...
Well that took a ridiculously long time.
I'm an Elite player at two games now.
All pal games done now. We are so close.
Two 8-pointers, one of which is a pretty good RPG that isn't as hard as some others.
And Super Glove Ball is not very good but far from the hardest 10-pointer, and a common game.
And I noticed I beat a total of 100 games this year. I didn't think I would do that many when we started this.
