44 copies of Castlevania IV for sale?

I know Castlevania IV is a common game with high demand but I never expected anyone to have such a large amount of copies. He/she is selling them all together, which is strange.

It's been relisted at least once so far. I'm sure the seller isn't expecting to sell them, but would be happy if they did.

it may be one of those collectors who was set on owning a set number of a certain game. i know at one time i had over 50 copies of the original Metroid. I beleive i'm down to ten.

It looks like you could easily amass this set for less than his asking price. There doesn't appear to be a discount for buying them in bulk here.

It's basically $38 and change per copy. I threw an offer up but it was quickly declined.
They won't sell at this price, who wants that many copies at retail?

I think his Turtles in Time lot did pretty good at $52 per copy
