People camp put on ebay full time looking for things to buy. I've had it happen to my stuff also. Especially CIB stuff that is priced below market value.
Well there was a little bit done by a resident NAer, Pat the Nes Punk on the topic of "instant bids". Here's the video: . Apparently it might be bots searching to make purchases.
The bids weren't that quick, items went up on Sunday? A ton of people search newly listed and some people bid just to block the addition of BINs (though it doesn't prevent side dealing).

I agree with Jone about the bots.. Bots wouldn't read any disclaimers in the auction and the bidder would lose his ass.
