  • Super Ninja Boy done
  • Haven't checked to see if they've been done yet, but I've knocked off a couple SNES games earlier this year, figured I'd post 'em either way. If they're not done already, you can knock off Soul Blazer and Tetris & Dr. Mario for me
  • Stunt Race FX is complete. No pics at the moment since I seem to be having trouble uploading them but hopefully later tonight.
  • Beat toy story on the snes

I could never get past the level where you ride on top of Rex

Probably halfway or more through Robotrek.  Enjoyable game, but I've gotten stuck on the "you must talk to NPC X" blocker like 50 times
  • I know this one has already been cleared but I'm going to post it anyway -

Space Megaforce/Super Aleste on Wild Difficulty (no deaths too!):

I think this is one of best shmups on the SNES (I still haven't played the entire library but I'm getting there). It gets very crazy in wild mode, so many bullets and crap all over the place, and it lasts for over an hour with pretty much no breaks in intensity.
  • Tetris Attack

  • College Slam done
  • Super Turrican 2

  • Jeopardy Deluxe beaten
  • Robotrek is finally done.  Pics will come shortly

  • ...Primal Rage down too.  And wow, I was able to do that in 10 minutes, on my first attempt, cheesing the same two attacks.

    I'll get the pics tomorrow

  • Super Solitaire

I beat every game that is beatable (Poker can't be beaten, you just get a score).

Even went through the tournament mode.
  • I've updated the list.
  • We're past the 1/4 mark at least.

I'm not as familiar with some of these games as the NES library, and I'm playing them for the first time even though I own them.

Does SNES have any quick 30 minute or less games like NES does?

There's the game show games and I'm guessing the Mario Early Years games, any others?
  • There DO exist some quick 30 minute titles like porky pig's haunted holiday, but we are faced with a considerable amount more brutally long games than the NES crowd. And unfortunately for us, they never really filtered over here after completing their list.

Every fighting game, but some of them do not give you endings on default settings, so you end up playing 2-4 times if you don't know this.

    I'm guessing Math Blaster

There's still a decent number of beat-em-ups too (I've started on Rival Turf, should only take me an attempt or 3) and fighters left

  • We really need someone who is experienced with the koei games, because I see those as being an enormous struggle.

Well I did beat one already LOL

I've finished most of the ones on NES, and I have no problem doing the SNES ones, but I don't own them yet (getting more SNES is my goal this year)

I attempted to play nobunaga's ambition on SNES and found it to be brutally difficult.  So good luck!

  • I have most of the Koei games, but have only played Brandish. I could try and help with that effort too, though I would probably want to start with one of the easier ones. And I don't have the mouse; not sure if that makes much of a difference

I have the manual for Inindo, so learning that one may be easier
  • Unlike rampart, you can get away with playing koei games without a mouse. They are more about strategy than they are fast responses.
  • Rival Turf.  I love how the black guy is white in the cutscene

  • Also, "Big Al" kind of looks like the late Robert D'Zar

  • I popped in Young Merlin, just to test the cart, and ended up playing it a little bit and got halfway through.

I remember playing this back in the day but didn't remember anything about it.

    Seems pretty easy so far.
  • Brawl Brothers

  • Made my annual pilgrimage through Art of Fighting:

Beaten on Level 8. Jack is the only challenge -- everyone else is a pushover with the jump + throw pattern.
  • Out of this World.  I've beaten it before, so for the sake of time I used a video guide to speed through it

  • So, I have a question...

What exactly are the criteria for beating the sports games? Full season, playoffs, and championship? Do you have to win? Can you game the system in any way with re-tries?  What can be simmed?

After my failed bid to win the Super Bowl in Tecmo Super Bowl, I don't really have the stomach to play through an entire season again when a single loss in the playoffs threatens to derail all your work.
