captain comic

black cart, cut up rental box, black label

whats the value of this bad boy?

Comments

  • box = nothing. cart = 5-10? overall, not much
  • anyone ever see this game with a micro genius sticker on the box?
  • hoped that the black cart was expensive ;p

but i'm a noob on that color dreams stuff
  • Cap'n Comic is worth the same no matter the variant, $5-$10. Upside down label, black, blue, pink (well maybe not pink), they're all crap. This and Bible Adventures are the most likely to be cannibalized for repros of Escape from Atlantis.
  • too bad image

funny how i find it on a local fleemarket tho.. NTSC version color dreams game in a rental state.. wonder where that rentalstore got their supply back in the day
  • I will say of the 5 different Captain Comic Variants I have, well the 5 USA variants of it... the Black with Grey Back Label is by far the toughest to get.

Saw this, and I was wondering if you meant CIB or loose.  I just got one the other day CIB, the cart is great, and the box and manual are probably a grade B.  I got it for $9.99

  • ^ Loose, I'm pretty sure. CIB would be nearer to $15 or so image .
  • Does anyone know if Captain Comic's label was manufactured either way? As far as I know, all Color Dreams games have labels placed on just like official NES carts. But the one I just got has the label upside down, like a Camerica cart.

That's a pretty common variant, it's about the same price as the "regular" version.

    Edit : spelling.
