With the earlier Amazon page that got pulled down, that seems pretty much a confirmation to me. I hope that isn't the final price, though, pretty ridiculous.
The pre-order page is up (or back up) on Amazon now, for both the WiiU AND New3DS versions of the game. I just placed copies of both into my cart and bought them.
Lego Force Awakens coming out tomorrow which will make the official list go to 149 plus bayonetta and starfox guard. I count those so 151 for me. Im waiting on mario sonic 2016 rio, lego star wars, and tokyo mirage. Only need 3 older releases other than those to complete the set. Got terraria in today and the brunswick came in from that listing I posted to bring me to 145. Only lacking 6 total isnt too bad. Waiting for lego avengers to drop, and only need that dumb monster high game and the mario luigi u combo disc.
After Force Awakens next game wont come out till september it looks like unless some shovel ware game pops up that im unaware of. Shantae and paper mario in september, skylanders this fall, And yooka leylee and zelda and just dance 2017 in 2017
I really am starting to doubt the wii u even sniffs 200 games. It doesnt look like itll get even to 175 Im going to throw out a guess of 170
It's crazy to think there are only around 150 games for a Nintendo system that has been around for nearly 4 years. 170 seems like a good estimate to me. It's not like the system has any third party support currently, and I can't see publishers bothering to release a WIIU version along with NX come March since the user base is so small.

Yeah, it's sad it hasn't sold as well. Great system with lots of great games, just people didn't buy it.
Also announced today that Tumblestone will get a physical release:

lol and why again could we not get a physical release of fatal frame? Tumblestone looks fun but cmon, fatal frame would have sold better than that will.

It's a shame it didn't sell better. It has some of the best games Nintendo has ever released, IMO. I think it will be more fondly remembered in the future than it is currently thought of.
For all you Wii U fans out there, I have added a large update to the Wii U Database (about 50 games).
It still isn't perfect, and there are still some bundles/variants/special editions/etc to be added, but it is MUCH closer now to the full retail set. I know of most of the missing items, I'm just trying to figure out the best way to list everything and be consistent with our database standards. For Example - I know there are two Bayonetta 2 releases, one with Bayonetta 1 and one without. I would consider this a variant but some may consider it a separate listing. Then there is Star Fox Zero / Star Fox Guard. Just Dance 2016 Gold Edition. Etc.
Again, I know it isn't perfect yet but it is much closer. Hope this helps.

Hey thanks for your efforts. It is much closer now although obviously there are a few things to still add. Is this something we can do ourselves, or do you have to have a set permission on th site to add stuff? I assume the latter. I'd happily add things or point out ones that are missing if that is helpful.
Thanks! Special permissions are needed for quality control purposes. If you see anything specific that needs to be added, let me know and I can update.
Everything I added - I checked and double-checked to make sure they were legit, NA physical releases. There are still some slight modifications needed and some errors - but I wanted to at least get the missing ones in first.
For example -- I think "F1 Race Stars" did not have a physical US release, so I think that needs to be modified, but someone can let me know if I'm mistaken there. That one was already there before I started correcting things.
Just as a heads-up, I was at a local Walmart earlier and they had several copies of Phineas and Ferb: Quest for Cool Stuff on clearance for $15 apiece. This is actually a fairly tricky game to find, at least from my experience, and the cheapest sealed copy on eBay right now is more than double that price. So this isn't a bad deal at all.
Other Wii U titles on clearance: FIFA '13 ($15), Wii Party U ($24), LEGO City Undercover ($24), The Wonderful 101 ($15) and New Super Mario Bros. U ($40). These should be chain-wide prices as well, not "manager's special" clearance deals.
Of course, YMMV if your local stores still have them.
One of my local stores still has a brand-new copy of Funky Barn, too, but they still want fifty bucks for it. >__>
My walmart doesnt have those kind of titles. Mainly just stuff like splatoon mario kirby , power tennis , xenoblade, big core titles. All those phineas and ferb type game and lego city are long gone.
havent seen a wii u party in forever, and also havent seen wonderful 101 anywhere in awhile
you must live somewhere that just doesnt ever sell anything.

You're correct, F1 Race Stars did not have a U.S. physical release. I see the following missing (you mentioned Star Fox Guard and Bayonetta already):
Star Fox Guard (this got its own case and everything, just sold in a 2-pack with Star Fox Zero)
Bayonetta
Giana Sisters Twisted Dreams - Director's Cut
then you have the combo game (if it should be listed separately?):
NSMBU + NSLU
You have Disney Infinity 2.0 Marvel Super Heroes, but there is at least one other starter pack for this game (Toy Box) so perhaps that should just be Disney Infinity 2.0 as the game is the same. Actually, there are a lot of these when you consider Skylanders and special editions of games, but I'm guessing we don't want to list those separately.
Finally, New Super Luigi U is listed twice.
Thanks again for your time & efforts! Perhaps those more knowledgeable than I am would care to double-check the list and see if they see anything missing?
Just Dance 2017 will also have a gold edition (sorry variant collectors). There are also two Skylander bundle variation packs coming out too with the next release (dark edition).

Just look at my list in the Collection Tool. It should be 99.9% accurate including known variants.
I added a list of all titles released and upcoming that I know about on the first post. If anyone sees anything missing, please let me know. I'll try to update the list as things get announced or released.
Finally knocked off Wipeout Create and Crash and Just Dance Kids from my list. Wipeout Create and Crash seems to be drying up some. Slowly but surely getting there.
May go ahead and grab Tererria while its 20% off with Amazon Prime since I have $20 Credit they sent me due to the Zero Time Dilemma debacle.
Has anyone had any luck with buying from Walmart.com on pre-owned games? They had a few that I need for 6.88 and I couldnt resist.
I hope they have manuals.
I guess if they don't, I can always return them. Right?
I've bought a couple pre-owned games at Wal Mart and they were in good shape. I also believe Quest4NES (or maybe it was another poster???), who frequents this thread, mentioned Wal Mart pre-owned coming in good shape. Good Luck.
I noticed a few price drops at Wal Mart. New copies of Wonderful 101 @ $15 along with a couple others.
Geez I've been out of action for a few weeks and there is so much action in this thread. Good to see. Today I'll be heading over to EB Games to pick up all the June games they are holding for me. Quite excited
Should variants be in the database list though? I thought that was for releases and main special editions kind of thing. There are too many variants to count for this system. Just going to muddy it up
Yes I have the NORDIC Games version. It's the new common now.
Also, the list needs to be updated as both "JEOPARDY" and most likely "WHEEL OF FORTUNE" also are now NORDIC variants.
Also Skylanders Giants had a Dark Edition as well from Page 1's list.
Also Super Mario 3D World would be missing the first release "blue" box.
Also Splinter Cell Blacklist had a GameStop logo variant as well.
I'll need citations and proof for all of these. I don't believe Giants had a Dark Edition. The listing for just Super Mario 3D World is the blue case original release.
