The TRU on transit in the 14221 had at least 15 Skylanders imaginators starter packs for the wiiu. They were ringing up at $10. Not a bad price. Signs were also up that this the last day Tru is accepting cash.
Tip to anyone still chasing the set. At Family Video many of the games will not have a for sale sticker but if you ask they may be priced to move. I've been able buy several games this way.

so dumb. The only reason it had demand was because of the price. No one wants that garbage. Companies will never learn. Same thing with gamestop when they reprinted xenoblade chronicles and tried to sell it used for 80 dollars. At the time people were spending that much because of its uncommon nature. I had no problem with the reprint, but selling it for 80 is selling new stock for old collector demand price. Doesnt work and they took advantage early on of people being unaware. No one wants hello kitty kruisers. 50 dollars? LMAO. Now the market gets a large supply that game isnt worth it. If they reprinted and sold it for 20-25 people would jump on it to complete sets.
I got mine at gamestop for 10 bucks just to pick it up the couple years before gamestop cared about wii u prices. They were discounting everything down to floor prices.. Wish I sold it when it blew up in price. Wasnt thinking. Had already completed the set and didnt want to worry about reaquiring something.

yep, same here. I would add though that it depends on who is working at the time. I went to the same store one day and a kid told me if it doesn't have a sticker, you can't buy it. Next day, same store, another guy can pull up a price for every game I wanted.
Limited Run Games is going to release their first and only Wii U game this month. Says they lost a lot of money trying to make it happen. I'm guessing it's the previously-rumored Axion Verge.

IIRC, they said that the studio was a foreign developer during their AMA after their E3 presentation and that contributed to the issues. I want to say they were European but I can't remember for sure.
But Fast RMX was a Wii U game that got a physical release in Europe and the developer is based in Germany. Not sure about Axiom Verge's developer but I could see either of those being likely. Personally I hope it's Fast RMX because I already have the Switch version of AV, and it would be cool to have a game not available physically elsewhere.

I've been making some really good progress on my Wii U collection in the last few months. I'm now over 120 titles and only have about 40 left. Still have some of the rarer/more expensive ones like Hello Kitty Kruisers and Devil's Third left. Still trying to find a good deal on those but don't know if I'll be able to.
My local Target has Just Dance 2017 on clearance for $9.99 and Just Dance 2018 on clearance for $19.99. Just thought I would mention since that was the last game for a few of you. Your results may vary at your local Target.

My guess is that it's going to be Axiom Verge. Planned for Europe but never released. Now it'll be only US.
I'm missing 33 games for the US full set already counting Just Dance 2019.
I probably won't finish the set this year but I think it's possible to finish it until February.

They will talk more about the game soon, hopefully next week.
They are sueing the old publisher so they can't sell the game just yet.
They have to wait for the lawsuit to progress more before they can sell it.
The good news is that they already have all the parts and the copies are fully assembled.
