You have to remember things that offend you might not offend others and vice versa.
"Must be nice" is not something you said in jest anymore these days. It usually is a stab at someone in terms of the only reason they obtained XXX is because of some connections, etc. Or "must be nice" that guy lives in a mansion, etc. Most people would take that in a negative fashion. I am not the only one.
And yes, you are right, I am extremely defensive about shit because everyone has always assumed stuff about me but don't know a thing about me. Assumption of how "I" word stuff = people think the worst of me. Anyone who knows me or has met me in person on these boards will tell you something completely different.

Found the previous owner's prior Craigslist posting where he was asking $250. My guess was that he had no takers and his significant other ran out of patience, so I asked and he actually confirmed. He also told me that he got it from a friend who was a manager somewhere out of state (I think he said a game store in Texas) but there were indications that it had been at an auction or something before.

As for walking into a game store and asking for one I simply don't see them giving it to you unless you happen to come across someone uber cool. I went into a GameStop a few years ago and asked the manager if I could get a Mortal Kombat display box. He said no and that they aren't allowed to give them away cause they don't want people selling them on eBay or where ever. Two weeks later I found a bunch sitting in the dumpster. As for the kiosk, they are going to toss them out. No way they are going to send them back to Nintendo that would cost someone some money so I'm sure Nintendo will tell them to toss them out. Once that happens either a employee is gonna try to snatch it up or it's going in the trash.

The easiest way I've found to get my hands on a kiosk is to ask it on a coffee date and build its trust. Then go out for dinner, drinks, and dancing. When they see me doing the Running Man on the dancefloor I can pretty much guarantee they're going home with me and I'll have my hands all over them.

Ok get a buddy or two and some kind kart to move things. Figure out what store has what kiosk you want. Eyeball the bolts etc so you know what to put in the toolbag. Go in boss that shit with a clipboard . Get a business card with a homies number on it made saying customer service rep whatever. Say it needs repairs, you and your buddies should have it down in less than five minutes and out the door. Dont forget to also have custom shirts made saying company name rep. And Bluetooth in your ears so at any moment, you can just ignore someone if they talk to you, down for repairs... Lol. Hard to follow, by the end of next week you should own one or two.

I was able to get my personal wii u kiosk by offering to haul it away for them. That was enough. The second one that I gave away was the same story. As a result I got mine almost complete. I am just missing the console and controllers. I would just check behind the gamestop every night if you think they are going to be getting rid of theirs soon.
