I feel that the easiest way is to get a DropBox account (free) and copy the pictures to your public folder (you can make folders inside that folder to keep things organized). Once the pictures automatically uploaded, you can move your mouse on the file name, right klick and copy the link (URL) to that picture. Then all you have to do is paste it in here like so:

    imageimage

You could use the image icon in the reply box of this forum, but typing image tags really isn't a hard thing to do and you can keep control over your images should you want to delete them (from the forum) in the future.

Also, don't use photobucket or similar sites. Imo, the best alternative to DropBox is Flickr.
  • Updated Collection Pics! New stuff is my Turbografx collection. Man, if there was ever somebody in need of new shelves it's me, lol. Keep putting it off cause I've been planning on moving and was planning of starting a fresh game room when I do. I don't think that type of stacking is healthy for your items...

Ah, they're fine for now. Mainly have hard cases stacked. No cardboard. The Turbo games are in acrylic cases. I havnt had any problems with any games getting damaged and Im always taking games in an out to play. I know it's not ideal but I don't really have a better way to display em at the moment. Need to invest in some new shelves which I plan on doing soon. Thanks for the concern tho!

Well i had maybe 20-30 dvd-case boxed games stacked and that was enough to cause damage to atleast 1 games, maybe even 2-3. Hopefully your stuff will be alright but i'm reallynot sure.

In that case i would suggest all of the GB consoles the same way you did with the DS's.
  • Here's my N64 collection dudes. Finally got around to taking some decent pictures!

  • Nice collection you got there Sauce!
  • Finally got some shelving so I could take some of my games out of boxes and put them on display! I know it's not much, but I'm excited to finally be able to have something on display. Now I need more shelving so I can rescue the rest of my collection from hiding in boxes.

  • Why did you delete the post C_Sauce? Looked nice! Fine assortment of SNES/NES from what I saw.

That's a nice collection of CIB NES games, homie. Do you collect much for other systems?

Rocky, that's a staggering n64 collection. Whistle sound.

Thanks man! My main focuses are complete NES, Genesis and N64 sets, but I have a bit of everything. At some point I really should consider clearing out all my crap for other systems and put that cash towards my main focus. I would like to eventually complete a sealed Virtual Boy set also.

  • Only manage to get the modern 8-bit mario amiibo. Mostly because I was busy on friday. Talked to the worker at walmart and apparently people were lining up 7pm the day before to get the amiibos. And a scapler bought 20 units of the Super Mario Maker Wii U Bundle. That was disheartening.

That's just insane. That's like $5000-6000 invested into console bundles. Not worth the effort and time to make a few bucks.

Oops.... I told I posted this on another thread.... oh welll. This is what I get for having multiple tabs open.

Wasn't sure whether to keep it here or make my own thread

  • My wife won't let me have all my consoles out until our kids are older. Basically their playroom is my future game room.  As such my collection is mostly cardboard boxes in the playroom closet.  I do get to have a small amount in our bedroom, provided nobody can see it.  So here's my hidden small stash.

This is what the TV in our bedroom looks like:

    Bdrm tv

(I'll try to fix rotation on my laptop in a few)

So in the bottom left is my Xbox one, bottom right is modded PS2. Then behind the TV:

    Behind tv

close up is my backwards compatible PS3, then my elite 360.

then, when you move the mirror to the right of the TV stand.....

    Outer shot

close up uo of my hidden stash:

    Games

Miya mostly ps2 games as you can see, some 360, ps1, some random sega cd/saturn games, etc. so I can get to them quickly.

so that's my mini accessible "collection" for the next 9 years...

How long did it take you to get all of that?

  • I started collecting in 2003 and finished in 2006, but the only reason it was so fast is because I had a nintendo reselling buisiness in college.  I would buy 1000's of games and sell the ones I didn't have.  Luckily got garage cart #6 from dain in 2005 but had no idea what it was at the time.
  • One of the best reason so far about moving out was having the room to display my stuff
