Here is my current day collection. One of my main collecting/gaming objectives has always been not to take up too much space in my house,
so I try to stay as compact as possible and make it a welcoming space for people to come and play games, and not overwhelm anyone
Nintendo Power from 1988-2000 & EGM from 1993-2007 mostly. Also some Gamepro, Official US Dreamcast, Videogames, and others.
I don't have a good spot for the boxes so they just stay in my closet.
You've definitely got the compact business down, tucked into that corner. Those Play It Loud CIBs caught my eye. Looks like you've got a nice stack of GB games in there, too.
I've always had big nostalgia for the Play It Louds, that Green one is my original from childhood. I kind of had a weird upbringing on Nintendo, born in 1987, I gew up on Commodore 64 at my own house, I first got the Super Nintendo on Christmas 1992 with Bulls vs Blazers and Link to the Past, then my first Game Boy in Summer of 1995, Nintendo 64 in 1996, and I bought my Top Loader NES new at KB Toys in the Summer of 1997 after visiting a relative and falling in love with their NES all over again, never having had one of my own up to that point. I got the Clear and Black CIB Game Boy's last decade for under $50 each (black one is mint and complete, clear one is missing two of the four paperworks) but at this point I'm starting to lose hope that I'll ever get Red or Yellow as they rarely pop up anymore good price or not.
And yes I know the TV doesn't fit the stand when it is straight on lol, I usually have it at a 30 degree angle, it just kind of blocks off the games when it is like that.
Browsing the past couple pages of this thread makes me realize what a mess of a collection I have, you guys are on point with the organization. Guess I'll show my Famicom collection, nonetheless. It's spread out between a few shelves.
Shelf 1:
Shelf 2:
Shelf 3: (where I also keep my NES games)
And these games, I don't really know where to put them... gotta make some room.
Love this space, with all the wood, framed art, etc. Also, have to admire the organization; puts my place to shame. Makes me wonder what your gaming setup looks like. Is it in the same room?

Sweet Famicom collection! You have a lot of really tough to get stuff there.

Thank you, yeah it hasn't been easy... I'm about 25-ish games away from completing my collection, luckily I have all my big favorites out of the way.
It's one of the Japanese 2011 Club Nintendo Platinum rewards. "Dot Mario Cushion"

I actually don't have too many systems set up. I primarily play PC games. The Wii U is hooked up to that computer monitor. There's a small TV off to the left that the NES and a Wii is hooked up to.
I recently bought a home so don't have my collection displayed right now while we are still getting settled in, but here are a few pick-ups over the last week or 2.
Some N64 games. Carmegeddon and Cruis'n Exotica are only the box and registration inserts, for now. Others are complete.
Been working on my Vita collection when I can pick them up cheap since it seems physical releases are less common than most systems.
Here's my updated collection pics. Since i've moved into my house and gotten everything organized.
Not a spectacular setup like some people here, but i like the way it's setup, it works for me! The games on the shelves with the TV is two or three rows deep, they can hold a lot of games.

Take THAT dust!
SNES and Atari carts. some CIB intellevision there to the left on top of the toy cabinet.
Not as impressive as some, but I'ts my hiding spot.

I really like wall mounted shelving, takes alot of time to install it all but its worth it.

Thanks Alex! I was very happy with them and love how they turned out.

Anyone else use picture frames? Took me a while, but I found some of these beauties....
Take THAT dust!
Where did you get them and how much are they? I might do something like that for rarer games...

Damn! Nice boxed Famicom games. Metalstorm looks particularly badass.
Thanks man. Great art on Metal Storm, yeah? It's also a little bit harder than the U.S. version, makes stage 6 much more intense.

Got these at the local Mission Thrift Store... Whopping $2 each.
Lots of different picture frames you could use.

I'm loving the A/V switcher set up you have there.
Here's my collection, starting to come along.
Interesting choice of reading material underneath the TV and N64. LOL
Those TVs are telling me to play games or be crushed....

Here's a sneak peak of one of my Nintendo walls in my game room. Always a work in progress and I have too much shit.
Look at all that cardboard!
Looks like you have room for 2.7 stacks of Gamecube/PS2/etch games so get cracking on that.
I also like that you have top shelf games.
