Regularly. It's usually when I end up saying screw it and buying something I've been thinking about but haven't wanted to spend the money on. Though sometimes you wake up having purchased 2 copies of Robin Hood
Yes, I have. But is is just like the good poster above me has said. Usually my drunken purchases are items I have been contemplating for awhile, BINs I look at month after month, or whatever, and then finally with some liquid courage I can oull the trigger. Sometimes it works for the best, sometimes not, but it all evens out in the end.
Yeah, on a few occasions... It never goes well. I always overpay, it seems like. And usually I wake up with something that isn't in as good of condition as I remembered the night before...
I was hammered a couple nights ago, bought some Japanese Sega Saturn games that had little extra things with them for about $5 a piece so I wasn't too mad at myself in the morning.
I doubt I was drunk but one morning I checked my ebay account to see I had ordered two copies of ducktales for gameboy when I already had a copy. Saturday night is the worst for impulse buying. My wife works early sunday and my kids are already in bed by 9 and I'm up looking at auctions.
Never drunk-bought something online. Never drunk dialed or texted either. I'm a smart drunk.
You're just not drunk enough
I go from sober > smart drunk > clumsy drunk > passed out drunk.
Smart drunk I'm still aware of everything and tell people what not to do. Clumsy drunk I'm way too incoherent to text drunk or drunk buy. There's nothing in between smart and clumsy, or clumsy and passed out for that matter.

I haven't been drunk in a few years but I've been told that I get "preachy" as a drunk, like I start playing moral police or something like that.
Haha, yeah... this can happen. I've been there. Telling people how I actually feel without caring HOW I say it, too. It's why I try not to drink ecsessive amounts of booze at night anymore...
Buying video games is the least of my worries. If I've bought video games, it was a good night.
Yeah agreed. This reminds me that I need to get drunk again sometime soon...
Haha, yeah... maybe I'll start with 1. In moderation.
Everyhing in moderation. Except peace, love, happiness, and video games
You're right. Especially about the video game part.
Yeah I've put in some bids or offers on eBay while The Captain and I are hanging out. Generally havnt over paid or anything just makes it easier for me to say sure I'll offer or bid a few hundred.
Many times. Nothing major but have paid more than I should for some stuff. I've gotten a few things for nice prices too so I'm not too broken up about it. But eBay is an addiction. And it loves hanging out with the drinking addiction.

It helps tip me over the edge when I am on the fence about a game. Yes, I do have some regrets, but it evens out.
hell yes! i convince myself im going to do all kinds of crazy projects that are way beyond my skill level too. the other day I bought a 6502 and a couple z80 chips because i convinced myself i could figure out how to design my own arcade hardware.
thankfully most of the time its cheap stupid things and not expensive ones. i did end up with a couple arcade boards that should have been grocery money though...
So I got a bit drunk last night and bought a copy of Dragon Warrior IV. Oopsie. In my defense I've been thinking about it for a while and it's the last NES Dragon Warrior I need for my collection. I also spent most of the evening ranting about how Rocky IV is the best Rocky.
I was drunk when I offered to trade action 52 for Bucky o hare. But it was an NA transaction so I had to follow through with the deal sober... think I got maxi15 out of the deal too.
