  • I personally use Excel to do things.  The spreadsheet layout is handy.
  • ya I have been wanting to avoid doing that cause I have no idea how to use excel. I have seen some programs online and they do quite a bit but they are for more recent games it seems.
  • Yeah, I have heard Dain is working on some type of collection software due out some time.......image
  • There's not really too much to Excel..  Just label and fill...  Special formatting might take some work, but I don't think it's really too necessary for a basic game catalog.
  • My game list has checkable boxes in it to track your collection in the full version. You don't really need to know how to use Excel at all to use it. on my site Here

  • Awesome tool NGD. It's not just the NES games which I don't actually have much of yet. I have a a few hundred pc/ps2/xbox/gc games and a few hundred snes. I'm bout to have to get another bookshelf for some NES games coming in this week. I guess I'll just have to take the time and log em somehow.
  • Well I'm pretty confident that what Dain has been working on is gonna be SWEET once it's done... *AHEM* Cough cough ugh... something in my throat... LOL!!
  • Rfgeneration.com has collectionchecklists for every system ever made.  I use theirs for now.
  • Yeah, I'd also recommend rfgeneration.com, especially since you also have games for other systems. There's collection tracking tools on the site, and system checklists as well for on the go (plus if you add your collection on the site's collection tools, the checklists will already have your stuff checkmarked).
  • I have to to agree that RF Gen's is the best for multiple systems without question.
