Are these NES controllers just like SNES F-Zero or N64 Perfect Dark where they just found assloads of leftover stock? I was just looking at ebay the other day and noticed lots of people seem to have these OEM controllers which is neat but they never seem to include any packaging. I'm probably going to buy them but not at StoneAgeGamer as they can't guarantee that the ones you'll receive will be in good shape.

If they're from the same source, you'll have the same issues. Only advantage to ebay would be seeing a pic first.
They have had tons of these OEM controllers for sale in Europe for years, largely from a source in Spain. Looking at the photos, these also carry the NES-004E code, meaning they are European controllers. I know that US controllers do not function on all PAL systems, so the reverse may also be true FYI. Just a point of caution.

My guess is they were ones meant to go in systems.
