will a cool mist humidifier hurt my games?

I have a 2 month old son and it would help to clear the mucous(don't know if that's spelled right)in his nose if I use a cool mist humidifier. My only concern is he still shares a room with me and my girl and that's where I keep my nes cib's.I just want to know if it will hurt my games in any way(they're in box protectors if that helps). If anyone out there knows that would be great.

  • I don't think it does. I used to play the SNES with my grandmother back around 1994 and 1995, and she had a mist humidifier on pretty much all the time. Never harmed the games, or the console.
  • If anything it might make the boxes moist over time, hard to tell thou. I live in Florida and it's almost always 80-100% humidity here, but thankfully I haven't had any water damage to stuff that's kept inside, stuff can get moist out in my garage but not that bad.
  • Thanks for the help.If I have to use the humidifier i'll just move my games. No way in hell would I risk screwing up my cib's.
