eBay Auction for...a Fridge Full of Jurassic Park

Forgive me if it's been posted here already, but I haven't come across it.

Anyone else found this auction for a refrigerator's worth of SNES Jurassic Park copies?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/191586916547

The description is what kills me - he treats storing games in a fridge like it's no thing, and is more than happy to talk to you about what his favorite dinosaur is.

So...anyone gonna go for it?

  • hah, k3v is a member here. That's pretty funny.
  • I really think the fridge should be part of the deal.
  • I guess everyone has their own way of seeking attention

    And the rum.

Yeah, his collection of JP games has been an ongoing thing.
  • He's been screwing with those cartridges since he got off Goodwill.

Ever since he was born, he's been a fan of the series.

  • Life finds a way.

I love this ish. Seriously. This guy has inspired me to choose a low-end game to hoard, ha.
  • Poor K3V, finally getting out of it? Good luck man, I had a hell of a time selling my DWs.
  • Just have a woman hold a cart above their breasts. One girl per cart.
  • I saw this pop up on my Twitter feed and was like "... Kotaku actually posts a article about games today, and it's about Kevin's Jurassic Parks, fucking K3vbot."
  • Jajajaja we know the man!!
  • He is in the chat room signing autographs if you guys want to meet him in person!

I wonder how much more he would get if he signed every game....
  • Well it was a good run, he kept them longer than I thought he would.

    Again?

The first person was a non paying bidder I think

  • i knew when i read the topic who it was LMAO
  • So funny that this sold. If I had enough (read: a lot of) money to burn, I'd have considered it.
  • If he would have used this picture he could have sold it for $3000!

  • (Hey, thanks for moving this thread, whoever moved it - my bad!)

I'm happy that this guy is a member here, I hope someone actually pays him for these things. Is anyone here aware of Everything is Terrible? It kinds reminds me of how they're trying to gather the world's biggest collection of Jerry Maguire video tapes.
  • This made my day hahaha. Waiting to read a response from K3VBOT.
  • I think this means I'm the only one left in the epic collection race. I'll have to put a little more effort into it now.

Which collection were you going for?

Also, K3V, does this mean the 15 copies of JP I was hanging on to for your next JP auction are now... useless?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Ferris acquired Space Jockey's DW collection

Lame. Hopefully the sale goes through, Kev. That was a hell of a run, bud.
  • Can anyone confirm if this picture is of him??
