The board is red and the switches are low. Clearly bunnyboy's repro stuffed in a Zelda cart.
Prime example of why repros are better out of the hobby. Imagine repro labels without being clearly marked getting into these peoples hands. Advertising it as a repro in the ebay listing is not good enough, repros shouldnt exist.
I have to think that the seller with 2K+ feedback all positive is not trying to rip somebody off. In all likelihood he bought the fake from somebody else and has no idea it's not real.

Agreed, but somebody with said 2K+ positive should have more savvy and common sense.
It would be like me hand drawing a 100 dollar bill then trying to use it as genuine.

I disagree. That price and the absolute shit that are those pictures suggest to me they knew exactly what they were doing. Who the hell has all that feedback and doesn't open the cart of a $5k+ game they're selling. No excuse. 100% fraud.

Sigh ... I'm not sure why I'm deciding to defend a guy who sold or tried to sell a counterfeit NWC gold, but...
Going through his listings and sold items, he generally sells arcade machines/parts and perfume. People that do not sell high end video game carts would not be aware of opening up the board to validate. I know it's an obvious fake to us but to a non-collector it isn't so obvious in my mind.
The pictures are not of great quality but there is nothing deceptive about them as far as I can see.
And I'll say it again, why would someone with that kind of feedback knowingly commit fraud? Possible yes but unlikely.
I will admit though that the price choice is interesting. I can't explain that one. It's pretty clear that he didn't do that much research here at all.
Second time I've seen this thing relisted. NWC gold is the hardest game to authenticate and it happens to also be the most expensive. I honestly don't think I'd buy one unless I got it directly from Dreamtr or one that can be traced back to his ownership. Only exceptions would be the original owner selling it or a VERY well known collector. Thankfully I can't afford to spend $30k right now nor do I have an interest in owning it. NWC grey/gray has such a better history and story along with the fact that it is individually numbered and harder to fake.
IMO the price choice is actually the most damning part of it. I suspect he knows damn well that 5k is too cheap and he's trying to lure a sucker.
Yep that price mixed w those pics leaves no redee.ing qualities. They're clearly phishing. If anyone thinks otherwise, just let me know. I have a beach front timeshare in Pennsylvania to sell you I'd actually be cutting him more slack if the price was higher.

Yup. And the NWC grey looks better as well as actually being used in the contest itself.
The NWC Gold has such a cheap, pathetic label, and I'm almost certain it was printed on a low end laser printer (i.e. very easy to fake).

I assume thats a fake as the dip switches arent in the right spot.

Not only that, but the square cutout for the switches look like its been cut by a five year old!
The cart looks in ROUGH shape too.
Really cant believe anyone would see this as genuine even those not in the know...
