Odd "Recoton" NES Controller?

Hey there guys. I'm a bit (bit, not massive) of a Nintendo collector, and recently someone brought into me a basic NES bundle. Most of the bundle was everything im used to, except for this controller that was included. It is a "Retocon" aftermarket controller. I have tried my darndest to research it, but i cant find any solid information at all - none have been sold on eBay or amazon, and one site is selling one without a price, and another site has a guy wanting to find one.

Does anyone recognize it? Because boy, do I need help. Any info would be great.

I have posted this on two other forums and so far no bites.

  • Hey man. I just grabbed one of these from the game store the other day. It was $5.95. Sorry if that doesn't help much.
  • Well, that might just help alot! It all depends on whether the gamestore valued it appropriately or just threw a price on it
  • The Turbo feature is cool so I'd say it should be worth at least as much as an official Nintendo NES controller. It may be rare too, but I doubt it's worth much, I'd say not more than $20 and perhaps not even $20. Recoton was just a company that made a lot of inexpensive third-party equipment so I doubt there's a lot of interest in something like this. It is kind of cool though.
