So that's what a picture of a $1000 bill looks like. I always wondered ...
I had to laugh at your signature after reading that you bought most of these. I completely understand haha
Sweet pickups though! Lots of AAA titles in there!
Thanks man! My tax return was more than I expected, so I treated myself to some games I've been wanting to own. I had to tell myself no more purchases for a while so I wouldn't get too used to buying/checking eBay/etc.
We made a trade. I'm not allowed to say what we gave up, per the other party's stipulations, though I will say it was a very rare Famicom cart. But what we got in return well more than makes up for it. This was a helluva deal.
Spave Manbow, Aleste 2, Nemesis 1 and 2, Darius 2, Darius Gaiden, MUSHA.
Husband really didn't wanna give up his game, but this was just too insane to pass on. Plus, he's wanted Space Manbow for a long time, but not wanted to pay the going rate for it.

Is the MSX really hard to get into these days? I know almost nothing about it, but I've been wanting to get into more 80s computer stuff. Probably grabbing an Atari XEGS as my next console/computer purchase. Seems like a good gateway drug for someone who almost exclusively games on consoles.
Congrats on your trade! Seems like a lot of rad shooter action.

You talking about the system itself or the ease of obtaining games? A good bit of stuff is pricey, depending on what you're looking for.
You'd definitely want the MSX2, preferably the 2+.
It's more my husband's baby. He loves shooters, so the MSX and X68000 are primarily his.
^ awesome stuff dude, i just added a bunch of those myself these past few months!
Soul blazer
Mystical Ninja
Being my favorite two out of the bunch.
Thanks Magus.
It was a very lucrative trip collection wise for sure. Lotsa good trades and some good buys available from some of the local guys.
Mystical ninja ive been after for a little while. Loved the N64 games. Soul Blazer was an "impulse buy" for lack of better term for it. I had just been pkaying illusion of gaia in the weeks before, and was loving it.
Secret of Mana ive been hearing good things for a long time, but never had a good opportunity to grab it. Some on the list i grabbed just for the sheer fact that they are harder to come by.
Enix Quintet trilogy is awesome! I wish they made Terranigma NTSC that's definitely one of the first games I'm going to play on my SD2SNES.
I wasn't sold on getting Pocky & Rocky for the longest time but the art style reminds me of Legend of the Mystical Ninja. Definitely one of my all time favorites.
I just recently learned about Hyperzone from SNESdrunk it's so much fun! Kind of like if F-Zero and Space Harrier made a love child haha
47 Wii games for $70... not exactly all quality titles but not complaining for the price. Also expecting a copy of Fritz Chess (rare Wii title) that I scooped up for $27!
Wow Lufia 2 looks so sharp in RGB! I only learned about that being possible on SNES a couple weeks back. For my big screen I would need to go the scart with xrgb-mini route; I just can't justify the difference in picture quality for $600+ CAD. Sure does look nice though!

Yeha I dont bother with anything fancy on the flatscreens throughout the house, but for the game room I wanted to make sure I got the most "authentic" experience I could.

Looks great dude. I wish i could have a Tube TV. Im stuck with flatscreens so i had to shell the money out for an XRGB Mini. Absolutely adore it though.

Is that a 20" PVM?
It is! And it is in beautiful condition! There is actually a service tag on it dated late last year, so it'd been well kept!
Bought King of Dragons from bridgemute, and picked up Ultimate NES Remix on 3DS because I need something to get me to pick it back up, and the NES contest re-kindled my interest in the title
I picked up a few boxes/manuals. I don't generally go for CiBs but I was drawn to these... Already had the carts. I knew buying my first CiBs last week after a few years of buying carts only was going to be the end of me!
Happy about picking these up in a trade for some Saturn/Turbo.
@Brock yes King of Dragons yes!!!! That was the first SNES game I bought that wasn't a nostalgia pick up. I saw a review comparing it to Knights Of The Round. No doubt it's a top 10 multiplayer experience on the SNES.

Had a private local NintendoAge Meetup this past weekend and here are the items I got in trade, Some $$$ was thrown around also
There was also a couple common NES carts and some N64 manuals, but they already made their way into the collection.

What games are in the pic on the right? I recognize Hyperzone, and Soul Blazer. Awesome pickups dude we have similar taste

Never played Kirby Super Star, but I'm finding I quite like it from the bit I played of it.
And kirby superstar is a classic
Firstly, cart wise, picked these up. Metal Warrior was an online grab, and Lufia II was a local store.
But more importantly... The scart cable I've been waiting on for a while finally came in! So my game room got an upgrade!
I picked up this Trinitron PVM20M2MDU a couple weeks ago, and my SNES has the RGB mod, so I had just been waiting on the cables to use this beauty.
It. Looks. Amazing!

Should post the Aero Fighters pic to the Sony Trinitron thread! It's definitely Trinitron porn
I wish it photographed better. It's always moving so it's hard to get a good shot. That's why RPGs always look great. Lots of places for still shots.

That's sexy. I've wanted to upgrade my 14" for quite some time. Hoping to get lucky on one soon.
