  • I count 7 of them
  • He's actually sold 3 already, so this is 10. I wonder if he has more too. A seller also had 6 about 8 months ago as well.
  • I'd like one, but a bit too pricey for me at the moment.
  • Damn this is one of the few pieces of n64 that I still want, and only because I'd actually play the damn thing. The gameboy advance player and super gameboy both have their issues, and are not accurate.  Not worth $1000, especially when he has that many for sale at once.
  • They would have to drop $300 for me to think about it.

GBA versions actually have been around $800-$1000 in the past.  GBC versions have been between $300-$600.
  • I sold a new old stock GBA version with paperwork etc. to Dream years back. Very, very cool piece and much rarer than the GBC version. I have never seen so many in one place before.

Yeah I guess, I just think it's a bad strategy to list that many of them at once.

Does it play GBA and GB/GBC or just GBA?  Also, what's the deal with the port on the front of some of them?

Judging by the presence of the GBA's product code "AGB" printed on the Wideboy's label in the auction, I'd have to say they're GBA Wideboys.

There was a brief influx last Fall, probably about 4-6 GBA Wideboys in the $550 range.  They lasted a week or two, and were all much nicer condition wise than these yellowed ones.

Of course it's a bad strategy but this seller doesn't care.  He listed at auction and went for $1150ish, then listed 2 more at $900 and someone BIN'd em both.  So now he listed a bunch individually, I guess this all of his stock.

And as far as I know, GBA plays GBA only, GBC plays GBC (maybe GB too?).  GBA is rarer (or was, not sure now).  I'm also curious about the port on the front too, not sure what it is used for.
  • I looked into the port on the front, and I saw an article that said it was so you could plug your Gameboy into the wide boy and use the gameboy to control the tv. Don't know how accurate it was, but sounds plausible to me. I wonder how hard it would be to find that chord lol.
  • Yeah the front port was for hooking up a GBA, seen a few of them around.
  • wish the price is in the 500 range
  • the wideboy 64 and the IS-AGB-CAPTURE, which is a better system to PLAY the game? i.e. better pic, durability etc.
