Any art connoisseurs here?

I bought this picture from a thrift store for only $15. For the price, I had to get it. It's very large. I had trouble getting it in my car. It's a numbered and signed print. Something out of 300 or so. I don't rememeber exactly. I took a few pictures for you guys. I thought maybe you could help me out. I've googled just about everything, but I can't make out the writing.

Any ideas? I feel like I've seen this image somewhere before.

  • Big time art dude here. The script says "Funk Island". Its a tiny little rock off the coast of Canada. That explains the French in the next picture which says what looks like "Pluie Nou Tour"... which makes no sense in french. Pluie means "Rain" and "Tour" means tower... I don't recognize "Nou"... Anyhow... neither of these is the artists name. Try searching for Canadian artists.
  • "Island" is the only thing I can figure out. How can artists have such worrible handwriting? Do you want people to be able to read your name?
  • I think the second picture might say "Pierre" something, but I can't figure out the last name.

Also, I'm pretty sure this is actually the famous work, "F*ck Island."  Very erotic.

That is not the point of a signature
