Blockbuster Championship II Event Poster Price Check?

This is the poster that was actually posted up at Blockbuster to advertise the tournament (I have marked the picture with my user name to prevent any attempt at reproduction). I collect a lot of memoribilia having to do with the Blockbuster Championship II, and I have never seen another one of these, so maybe you guys can give me some insight on it. It is 100% legitimate as the guy who I got it from actually asked for it after the tournament and the employee at Blockbuster said they were just going to throw it away, so they gave it to him. Years later, it ended up in my hands. The poster is made of thick plastic and is double sided like a movie poster where the other side is mirrored (backwards) an exactly even to the front so as to maybe look better if light were shined through it. As far as the size goes, its pretty big, definitely bigger than your normal size poster. I imagine most of these got thrown away, but I was not sure if other NA'ers might have one or have an idea of the value of it. I have no interest in selling it right now, just want an idea of the value if any of you guys might know an estimated value. Thanks!

    That's pretty slick, I have been trying to put together information / stories from the first and second Blockbuster championships and it is tricky as nothing seems to be documented / saved.... Blockbuster just threw everything away?!?!



    Price on that?? since there is little to nothing around for this competition anything is rare and in my opinion quite valuable, however, since there is nothing to base it off of, you really just need to see what people would be willing to pay for the item,



    Take me for example, I am very interested in the Blockbuster Competitions, and so I would pay about $100 for a poster like that... however, I wouldn't be surprised if you put it on E-bay and the bidding went up to $350 ?!?! people are crazy these days!!



    Sweet item, someday I would love to see more info on the Blockbuster Competitions!! Rules, Documents, etc!

    This is one of those items that someone could pay quite a bit for if they really wanted. I'd say it's worth $150-200 tops to the right person.

    Thanks for the info guys. I have no intentions of selling it, I was just in a debate with a friend over what it "could" be sold for. I feel like the sky is the limit on this item, as I do not know of any other collector who has this poster.

    Someone with the cartridge may really want this item, and your right sky is the limit if they have a big wallet.
