GBA Backlight Mod
So I've got a couple GBA SP's with backlights, and i know im going to salvage the screen from one of them to make a backlight GBA AGB-001.
I know you need to buy a ribon cable adapter, but when looking around ebay, i found something that warranted a question.
One of the sellers i found had what seemed to be conflicting information. I've sent a message asking for clarification, but i figure i'd also ask here. There is a 32 and 40 pin version, which depends on what model of GBA you have. But looking at this particular listing, he said that there were 2 different connectors for the GBA SP screens, and that one of those was 40 or 32 pins.
I've only ever seen 2 different versions of this ribon cable, but if the GBA SP's also had different pin counts, it would make sense to see 4 different types of adapter cables.
I'm wondering if anyone who has delt more with these might clarify some things for me. As of right now, and since I've been looking, I've only ever seen 2 different cable types, and they were both for different GBA-001 versions, and never once was anything mentioned about anything different about the screens that the SP uses.
