What are they gonna do next, force bars to stop serving fried food, because obesity and heart disease kill WAYYYYYY more people than smoking does.
Actually, yes. Transfatty foods have been banned from restaurants in New York and Boston for some a little while now if I'm not mistaken. Crazy stuff...
Honestly I can't say much about smoking. I for one smoke cigars, but usually when I'm home, fishing, or at the casino. The whole no smoking in the restaurant is kinda dumb. You shouldn't punish people b/c they smoke. So, say I was smoking at the bar and you walk up next to me and have a few drinks. B/c you don't smoke and want to sit at the bar, I should leave the bar and go out side, just b/c you don't want to inhale the smoke?
As for me, I've never drunk a drop of an alcoholic beverage or smoked any type of smokable (is that a word?) item (and I intend to keep it that way: had I stuck around for the party after the Expo, I would've had nothing to drink except water or tea ).
I rarely drink alcohol (maybe once a month). I never loved getting drunk all that much...I usually just feel full, nauseous, and extremely tired. I used to smoke about 1/2 a pack of cigs a day, but don't anymore.
