Big Nes lot cheap. Think it's a shady seller

http://imgur.com/a/p7BXW

I don't want to name the seller just yet. But I think they are scaming people.

I'll get into details later. But for now I want to know if anyone purchased this lot. Because I did after the seller told me they had it available still. I also bought a lot of gamecube games. They were supposed to ship together. I just got the gamecube games. No Nes lot. And the gamecube games were missing 2 of the games in the box. Smash bros mele. And shadow the hedgehog

The other 3 were scratched beyond repair.. No manuals either which the seller said they had.

  • sounds like yes, but that's what buyer protection is for. make a claim, get your money back, and leave negative feedback.
  • Name and shame!
  • Where did you buy from?
  • It looks like the seller sold some of the games individually after the lot was sold. I don't see a Gamecube lot in the completed listings though. How did you buy those?

How did you see that they had  other games up?  Oh.  I see you can search sellers completed listings

Ya. After I bought it I saw the Nes games up on their ebay. That's when I got nervous.   I mentioned it and they took the ones down when I mentyioned it.   And said dont worry about the 2 that sold.  That they were going to have to cancel them.   I think the person listed the pictures not realizing that certain games were in the pic.   The seller doesnt exactly seem ebay savy.     I dont know

I bought the gamecube games off ebay.   I asked what else they had.   I paid.   And I got em.   So why would they send those, albeit missing disks and shitty...

Out of everything I really wanted Ninja Gaiden 3, Bubble bobble 1, Nemo, and Battletoads.

And out of the gamecube I really just wanted Smash bros.

It's one of the search options.  When you're on the page that shows the seller's listings, choose the "Completed listings" option on the left side menu.  It's not showing the Gamecube lot though.  Do you have a link to it?

  • I'm from that city. I'll start knockin' on doors.
  • I also said they sold it too low. So I offered to send $135.

I got the address. Googled their PayPal address. This came up (backpage ad) (sorry)

It was a male escort ad from the guy. Allegedly.

I got the GameCube off ebay. I asked what else they had. Which is weird they would send them at all.

YA. That's what I meant. I bought them outside of ebay from that seller. Using ebay messages, so there's all the messages back and forth stored. They had a gecube console with hook ups and controllers. Ps2 stuff. And some other stuff. I said how much for the gamecube games. They replied make an offer. I asked if they were nice with manuals. They said yes. All complete. (I Shoulda asked for more pics.). They agreed and I sent a PayPal. Not personal. With the protection. But still. Gonna take forever to recoup it.

I made fair offers too. I even sent extra because they listed the lot way too cheap. So I offered more. Being a sucker.

Ah, I see.  It's against eBay rules to make deals outside of eBay, so they might not be very helpful.  You could still try opening a dispute with Paypal though.  Did you buy the NES lot outside of eBay as well?

  • No. But I'm already down. Please don't kick me further down. I understand what i did. I just wanted to know if anyone else dealt with this seller. Or saw the lot. Or offered t buy it outside ebay after the fact. It's happened to me before

I know your trying to help. And I appreciate it.. I'm just real upset
  • I'm gonna try and resurface the disks I did get. If anyone has phantasy star 1-2 and 3 manuals I can buy please let me know. And luigis mansion manual.

    And smash mele disc

I'm going to guess that if ebay reads through your messages with the seller they wont be very happy and might suspend/ban your account for breaking their policy, about not circumventing their fees by buying items outside of ebay.

  • Awesome. Thanks for that.
  • Thats why they sold it outside ebay, so they could scam you. It sucks man, but lesson learned.
  • Exactly. Lesson learned.
