Help identifying a NES cart

Is this copy of Nintendo Campus Challenge the real thing, or just a reproduction?

  • Oh blast. Got one from a yard sale earlier, saw the title and I was like NO WAY! Now I know it's just a copy of a reproduction. Ugh. Major mood killer there
  • Still worth some money. What are they going for, $100?

Sold out on retrousb, retailed for $95.

    Gotta ask, what'd ya pay?
  • It's a reproduction, yes. and regardless depending on what you paid its still an excellent score as they are no longer sold.

I would have bought it in a flash.
  • Well it was just the cart itself when I got it. Thinking about playing it a little before I decide to sell it.
  • Yeah I guess it did come with a box and manual, but still a cool find in the wild.
  • You will never know what you will find at a yard sale. There is people out there that have no idea what certain items are really worth. Thanks to everyone for identifying that game for me.
  • Still even cart only that is something you typically do not come across in a yard sale. Congrats.
  • Thanks MuNKeY and thanks everyone for helping me identify that game

They are still sold, its just been out of stock for a while.

Once it goes into the discontinued section, then its gone for good.

ahhh, well I guess the "temporary" bit should have clued me in. good to know though.
  • Well I tried that game, and it is very similar to the NWC 1990
  • its a nice snag for a game still =0)
  • I've been wanting this for a while now, but it's always OOS :/
  • so how much you paid for it ? hopefully you didn't go triple digits right ?
  • When I got it from the yard sale, the person was selling it for $2.00, thinking it was a normal NES game
  • Lol excellent!
  • Ikr?? After I bought the game from him, I told him it was worth at least $100 or something, since at that time, I thought it was the real thing. He facepalmed himself against the side of his house. Lol
  • Well technically you spoke the truth since it's a reproduction but the real deal is worth way more than $100 don't think it's as much as a NWC grey cart but still worth a good chunk. Regardless nabbing this for $2 is nothing short of awesome.
