Custom Arcade-Style Atari 2600 Controller

Got this in an Atari lot from a nice guy who made this himself.  The buttons and joystick are nice and crisp, and it appears to be pretty well-made.  I know very little about Atari, and I don't have a good feel for what someone might be willing to pay for this kind of thing.  Any thoughts?

The only thing close I could find is a modded NES Advantage, which is not that comparable but still fun to see: http://www.ebay.com/itm/191586030824

  • Could be a good amount to what custom sticks for real arcade cabs go for, which seems to be what this is made from. It may look plain, but looks very sturdy, probably something I'd look for in an arcade stick.

Maybe someone who knows more about replacement cab sticks would know more. I would say it's not "break-your-wallet-expensive" but not "I'm a cheapskate-cheap" either. lol
  • Probably around 20-30$ in new parts depending on what switches were used. I don't think they would go expensive just for a 2600 setup. If everything is clean and in good working order inside I would guess $30-$40 for someone that might be looking for a good sturdy stick for their atari.
