Donkey Kong/Donkey Kong Jr. Game & Watch Pocket + Tandy King Kong Game.

Hey, I picked these babies up from a yard sale last week. I knew what the Game & Watches were but I cannot find the Tandy King Kong handheld on eBay. Also, they all appear to be NIB. The plastic is still on them and the batteries have not been put into them either (they are still in plastic).

  • All these people finding G&W stuff! FML!!!

    Awesome find!!!
  • You can ask a lot for those. Clean boxes and original batteries damn. I collect these.

The price history of theses are all over the place. I would ask $150-$200.

Maybe more IF you have a nice auction, pictures of everything and list for 30 days or more.

Tandy? I do not know. Shoot for $50-$100 and cross your fingers.

Side Note. The donkey kong game is where Nintendo invented the D-Pad! It did not exist before this game.
  • Wow, thanks for the information. For now they are going to go up on the ol' shelf, except the Tandy game, I have no attachment to that. I found them at a yard sale, the guy collected King Kong memorabilia and bought them just for the art on the boxes.
  • Man, that Donkey Kong Jr is a badass game. I had one when I was a kid, wish I still had it. I wonder what happened to it.

Looking at the description of the King Kong game...it's funny how it's a total ripoff of Donkey Kong. Right down to "the lady". I never heard about it in relation to Universal's lawsuit. Prior to it, they asked Tiger to stop making the portable game because it wasn't making them enough money, and Tiger refused.
