What is this NES connector for?

in Help Wanted!
I got this NES accessory adapter when I purchased a NES top loader lot. I'm not really sure what the adapter is supposed to go to as the only other things I received are the top loader, the standard power and RF cables and a controller. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

    Looks like the pictures that were posted aren't even the pictures I wanted to..... They aren't even pictures that are mine. Weird. I'm using my phone so will need to post pictures later.

    You have to give pictures a unique name. There seems to be a bug in the system that stores them so put your username in front of them and it should work. Otherwise it just pretends to save them but instead shows someone elses photo with the same name.

    There we go. As you can see, I'm a new member on NA so wasn't aware of the weird photo uploading thing. I got it figured out.

    Awesome. Thanks for your help. I had never seen the adapter, always just the piano. I guess that is why the cord is worth 30 bucks.
