    Yeah, I was pretty shocked when I heard about it.



    I can't imagine that he didn't get lead poisoning since any 2-seater would have spent it's entire lifecycle running leaded avgas and pumping the exhaust across the airframe.



    Also, I would hope he cleaned off all of the paint.

    Looks like he ate a Cessna 150 (2 seat plane I described) to get into the Guinness Book of Records.

    Also, he apparently eats 2 lbs of metal per day.  (The fact that he ate multiple televisions makes me also wonder how he doesn't have mercury OR lead poisoning)

    ^I think I remember hearing about the TVs, and that he puts the more dangerous bits in sealed baggies. Also helps smooth out the trip.

    I have a talent for eating metal, although I'm sure as hell not going to do that from now on.



    Thankfully, I found out today that the thing is completely out, and there is no pain. So, no infection. image



    I've drank a couple sodas since then, but I haven't chewed on the tabs. I'm breaking my habit.

    Ok I am so with arseface on this one. The thought of chewing on metal makes me feel terrible.



    And, an entire airplane? 2lbs/day? That's just mindblowing..
