Getting scratches off of a DS touch screen

Any at home ways to do this?

I bought a 25th anniversary Super Mario Bros DSi XL and the screens were pretty dirty so I didn't see the scratches at the time. I brought it home and cleaned it up and bam...scraches. Two good sized ones.

Also the stylus has been chewed on...is it a normal sized DS stylus or was it larger then normal? I'm trying to figure out if I can easily replace it.

  • You could try using a screen protector, those can sometimes mask scratches.
  • changing ds screens looks like a heck of a project. i was looking into refurbing one and i reconsidered
  • Replacing the touch screen is the only way to fix it. I replace them all the time- pm me if your interested in having it switched out.
  • you cant fix the scratches on touch screens ive tried the plastic is too hard to buff it. i would either deal with it or replace the touch screen.
  • replacing the digitizer is the only way to really fix it, the top screen is the one that's a real pain to replace the bottom isn't too bad.
