I personally wanted to buy a copy of Fighting Street NTSC last night but couldnt find one that had sold or one for sale on ebay, so I dont even know a price point. Anybody have any tips for me?

There's a few for sale right now! One CIB with outer box. Kinda spendy at $69.99 though.

Ouch! I really just want it for the Game Series Icon.
Got in my PC Engine today as well as my third game, Dungeon Explorer.
Played the hell out of Dracula X tonight - I've played the game previously on PSP, WiiWare, and emulation, but this is the first time I've ever played it on the original hardware. It's been my grail since...well, since I typed "Castlevania" into the Internet back in the 56k days, I suppose.

BTW dqualls, I sent you a PM.
Oh snap! I Check it out!
Sorry, Didnt really pop on here much this weekend. Sweet PC Engine set up!
Damn, I dunno, that seems pretty high! Maybe it's been getting hyped up! It is a great game. I hear the Turbo version is better but I already own the Sega CD version so I doubt I'll try and pick it up for Turbo, especially with prices like those!
Nice. I've got a white PC Engine but did not yet pick up any games for it. I really do regret that I didn't buy the game I would like to own back in 2003.

Whatcha game was it you were wanting to own? If you saw my post a little earlier, I picked up a PC Engine games bundle for pretty cheap and was planning to sell most of em so let me know if you're interested!

GunHed but since I'm in Germany, it probably would be better to just import it from Japan.

Ah, nice! Great game and good point!
I picked up a new game I should be getting in the mail today! Pretty excited about it, I'll post a pic later!
I want a PCE so bad but the dollar is so weak I hafta wait. There was one local but the guy wanted 500$ and was not willing to negotiate. He wanted me to pay for his mods for his sled mods. I get it but man I don't want to drop that much with no games. Pretty sure it was for the Turbo Duo model too...

It can definately be a spendy hobby. I figured if i didn't jump into it now prices would just keep going up, and theres too many good shooters on the system, I had to!
I'm one of the crazy ones though trying to get the games in the original boxes which can be alot more spendy, if your just looking for the hu cards or whatever it can be a little easier. I'm not going for a complete set though, just fun games i wanna play.
Same I want the few RPGS and Rondo of Blood. Feels like everytime I want something and don't act on it right away it spikes 300% in price
Yeah, I definately wanna pick up Rondo and the Ys games once I get a Duo or a CD attachment for my Turbo. I love the Ys games and have never played the originals, just the psp remakes.
I keep seeing some moded PCE on Ebay for RGB wonder if its worth looking into?
Any Japanese HU cards worth looking into? or is everything pretty much release here?
The most common recommendation is to get a region modded PCE Duo. It plays nearly PCE/TG16 Hu & CD game out there, and is the cheapest option.
The PCE was wildly successful in Japan, and did better than Sega in that generation. There are some 700 games released for the system in Japan, whereas less than 150 in the US. There are tons of lists out there as to which PCE games are worth looking into.
Be warned, PCE communities tend to be pretty harsh on new people.

I hear ya there. Tried to join up on pcenginefx and deleted my account after a week or 2. Way to much childish nonsense, wasn't for me.
There are a lot of people on that forum that are good people, but 90% of the time they just complain endlessly about high prices, as if they are all magically entitled to get games for a fraction of their going rates. They were doing that back when Magical Chase was a $300 game, I shudder to think how bananas they are about it now.

I missed out on the guy's Y's games that he had for sale a few month back. I'm still not a 100% on board buying games for system I don't own.
I know a friend who has just a turbo 16 but he isn't selling which is a shame since its just sitting in his closet.
Any Japanese HU cards worth looking into? or is everything pretty much release here?
I got a PC-Engine duo back in March that is region modded/ rgb/ re-capped. The duo looks really nice in RGB even with my crappy no frills scaler. I plan on getting a XRGB down the road but turbo in RGB is nice compared to composite.
PM if you want more details. Turbo collecting is not cheap but it's nice to have something so uncommon.
Any of you guys have a turbo express? Been considering getting the screen modded to 3" but was not sure if I should do it. The stock screen is nice for it's time but it is really hard to read text on that screen.
I can't speak for that repro, but I did buy a recapped PCE + CD from a guy on that PC Engine forum and it's great.
Some of the great PCE games are high-dollar but in general they're much cheaper than the US versions. Also if you're just looking to play them, you can get an everdrive for the HU cards and burn the CD games to discs. The latter is how I experienced Gate of Thunder and Spriggan. I prefer to own the originals personally but I've got other hobbies, man!

I ran into some of that. I'm just not one who is confrontational or very competitive and don't like feeling like I have to stick up for myself over petty nonsense. I'm sure there's nice people there and I'm a little bummed I didn't contact people about a Turbo Duo before I left but there was just 2 much annoying shit that went down it wasn't worth it to me. I'll find what I want on my own time, I don't need people making me feel bad about it.

Just picked up a cheap lot of PC Engine games for $20! I figured for that price i could keep the few i want from the bundle and sell the rest!
Dang! Some nice titles in there too! Good grab!
Moved pic to 1st post!
lol, I don't even have the console yet. But it's coming soon...
dqualls, what PC engine games in that lot are you potentially selling?

Makes me glad that I already have a copy of it!
Alright, what's going on with Lord's of Thunder? This was like a $80-$100 game in June, and now I see this auction that ended with bids:

I might jump into turbo once I get a house and a proper setup for RGB/CRT.
I was looking at some Turbo Repros and gotta say really looks like it has a dedicated fan base talented people working on some.
Are these any good?

This however looks awesome. https://pceworks.wordpress.com/2015/07/29/belmont-survival-kit/
I still can't believe how much just the cd attachment is going for.
