Hit it with bar!! That whole level becomes 75% easier if you can hang on to the bar..it can take out the robots, the fans, and the poison gas puffers
^Definitely this. I find that stage pretty easy once I knew where all the fans and gas puffers were. The electric fields were never really a problem. But the boss is a little more annoying than Bootsy made him look, he really can crush you easily so be careful.

He will be done before the end of the night for sure. I've got a fitness class to teach shortly; if I don't clear it now, I absolutely will tonight

Nice dude, honestly compared to Volkmire's that level should be a breeze.
Mario Maker is taking up pretty much all of my gaming time and I can't see that changing soon......Congrats though man you are gonna beat this bastard soon.
Robo Manus is actually much easier then Bootsy makes him out to be IMHO; duck, run, dash attack, repeat. I'm kicking his ass and only losing one or two lives now.

Terra Tubes is proving to be as bad as Bootsy makes it out to be for me. The amount of trial, error, and memorization in this level is beyond asinine, lmao. I'm getting just barely past the third gear race, and gaming over. This level is also massive. This is going to take me quite some time to get through.
Check out this guy's blind playthrough of "Battletoads." The first video is from February of 2014 and the last one is from January of 2015. He made it all the way to the last stage.
I've only gotten as far as the fourth stage playing it on an emulator without using save states. I'd like to play this on real hardware once I get a working NES. I think it would be easier without the lag.

I just got a Sega CD so I will be playing the piss out of that with the ocassional Battletoads attempt.

It's basically me sitting there yelling at the TV with a bottle of Rolling Rock sitting on the window next to me, and the lady playing Candy Crush/Hay Day on her phone making commentary on my rising aggravation level, lmao.
Been at er hard today.....Toxie is now in the Terra Tubes.... I did a run earlier today and made it to Robo-Bitch on my first continue then he kicked my ass each continue until I game overed.
Came back and didn't even have a single death until the Snake Pit.... got to Volkmire's and died on that last fucking gate like 5 times in a row........
But I got to the Elevator and Robo-Bitch and beat him pretty easily with only 3 deaths......I had him in like a 6 or 7 hit juggle before I killed him it was perfect.

But I got to the Elevator and Robo-Bitch and beat him pretty easily with only 3 deaths......I had him in like a 6 or 7 hit juggle before I killed him it was perfect.
I managed to squeeze in a Battletoads run this weekend. Made it all the way to level 12, the revolution. I was pretty rusty. Took me a lot of lives to get back into the timing of it. Last time, I spend a solid month on this level, lets hope its not as bad this time. On a side note: I'm amazed how much easier Volkmire's has gotten after beating it a few times!
