This is the team that is the heir apparent in the NFC East?  Doesn't look like it.

lol, Sammy's first true game back, and they lost by 2. Don't write them off just yet. I'm hoping that drop by Jordan to end the game puts a chip on his shoulder for the rest of the season, and it becomes a lesson learned instead of a trend.

(My take away from this game is that ATL actully looked pretty decent. Props to the Falcons, good game)

There's no doubt the 1st half was awful. lol

    Looking forward to week 2

  • Calling my shot now...Tony Romo defeats the Eagles! #In Romo I trust. #Romosexual Ok I'll never # in the forums again...
  • You just lost your man card

Hopefully the 9ers can takeover in Pittsburgh

    Dominate the run again

Cowboys fans aren't issued a man card to begin with
  • Romo out with a fracture in his shoulder.

Eagles might end up 0-2 after this game, but I'd say the Cowboys are worse for the wear. No Romo and no Dez

This is not looking good for me; my Fantasy QBs are currently Bradford and Romo :/

  • Poor Quest.
  • A lot of interesting developments around the NFL this season... and Tom Brady continues his quest to prove football PSI means nothing to him...

HAHA! I used to have an undying hate for Tom Brady, but a couple of years ago something clicked and I realized I just can't hate him anymore. He is an amazing football player. He can be as cocky as he wants because every week he can go out there and back it up. He is a machine.

On a side note, I'm glad to see that the piece of shit Bills I've always known and loved are back to their good ol' selves.

that's about as rough as it gets, lol. Sorry to hear that
  • Well if romo misses 8 weeks as its initially reported weeden just has to win 2-3 games to stay in the division race. Week 6 is the bye. Because as it looks. Philly, NY , and washington suck and arent running away with anything. Getting romo back week 10 would be ok. Just in time for thanksgiving. Hopefully Dez will be back then too. The defense will get a huge boost from rolando mclain and hardy coming back week 5. Defense has looked pretty oportunistic and decent the first two weeks.
  • I do not understand why Dez was jumping around at the end of last week with his injury... was it not that serious?

he was hopping up and down mainly on one foot lol. HE broke his foot. He was happy dallas had an epic comeback victory. Shows how much he cares. He had surgery the next day

  • It's tough to get excited about the Bengals starting off 2-0 when it's probably just setting up a fifth straight first round playoff loss. They just don't look like an elite team that can be a Super Bowl contender.
  • Good game in Green Bay tonight, coming down to the wire!

It's week 2. The Patriots looked like shit through the first month of last season.

Dez is like a kid playing sandlot football.  The money issue is something that has to come up from time to time with a player as good as him but he really does love his team and the game and can't control his emotions at times.  He's also a freak of nature hence, him running out of the locker room in his underwear on a broken foot excited for what his team did.  People tend to demonize him but he's one of those guys that everybody hates, but you love him to death if he's on your team.

I just hope Dez will slow down his rehab to match Romo's return.  I'm not holding my breath though.  Especially with the losses they are sure to take without the team's 2 most dynamic players.  How many other teams can lose 7 of their top 14 players and still be 2-0?  You can count them on 1 hand from all major sports combined.

  • Man, my team got their ass handed to them haha

Good thing that 2 others lost in my division

    Arizona was looking good today

That GB game was good tonight too

They gotta work on some WR's action
  • Man card intact....Cows 2-0. Romosexuality will be limp for a couple months however.

Hate to break it to you, but without Romo and Dez, the Cowboys suck too

Go Skins, we have the #1 Defense in the NFL in terms of total yards allowed right now.  And guess what else, #1 Rushing Offense.  If you can run the ball down the opponents throat, play good defense, and have a QB that is a great game manager (what Kirk Cousins is doing), that's a recipe for success.

So far two weeks into the season things are wide open across the board.  Every team has their flaws and there is no dominant front runner other than maybe the Pats.
  • Finally, the Packers defeat the Seahawks. Feels great to finally get over that hump, especially considering the NFC championship last year.
  • Best thing I'll see all week.

I think you missed the point. I said the rest of the division has sucked. So if dallas can tread water for 7-8 games theyll be in good shape to win the division when they return. By the way. Dallas is 3rd in total defense as well and thats missing scandrick for the season, gregory down game 1 after looking dominant with a high ankle sprain, no hardy, no mcclain. Dallas D isnt that bad. A lot better front this season. Sean Lee was all over the place last week. 14 tackles, INT, swarming the ball.

  • Basically Dallas can make the playoffs just like NC did last year

Be the best of the worst

Heard that romo is def out for 8 weeks.

    Crazy start

I don't really care if they contend for a Super Bowl, I just want to see a playoff win. I was too young to remember the first one.

  • I don't see Dallas winning the division if Romo is missing 8 games (I bet he misses closer to 10). They don't have much of a running game compared to last year, and while the defense has definitely improved, Weeden can only take them so far.

Skins going to NY on Thursday is really a make it or break it game for us. If we lose to them, as we always do on their turf, we're the same old Skins. If we go in there and beat them, then I'm very optimistic about the rest of the season.
